So, after having this book poking at my subconscious for literal years, I decided to bite the bullet and officially cancel it for a FEW reasons:

1) I'm not really in the DHMIS fandom anymore, rip
2) The writing's ASS and, since the release of season 2, completely outdated, and you couldn't make me reread and rewrite the old chapters with a gun to my head.
3) The character featured in the book is literally just a Y/N-ified version of one of my DHMIS OCs (her name's Maddy, love ya bbg <3), and this story doesn't fit her character anymore.
4) I've realized I'm aroace. That speaks for itself lmao

However, despite cancelling this fic, I won't delete it, so dw!!
I've got like, one other fic posted that's more recent and better, so check it out if you're interested in my writing, go ahead and check that out! I'm sorry if this upsets anybody, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.
