We all tell lies.
Just so we don't have to face the truth.
Lies cover this earth
Like the smokey clouds we see in the sky
Lies.
The lies I have been told are very simple.
"I love you"
"I won't leave"
Those simple lies.
The worst lie someone told me
Was that "It's okay honey, I enjoyed it"
That was what changed me from innocent
To a complete mess.
I hate lies
But they leave my cracked lips.
Lies are the only thing that everyone has in common.
