Diluc tried to break the shocking silence
" you know what? let's spin the bottle again" Ayaka got out of the circle, chuckling nervously before spinning the bottle as quickly as possible
Everyone stared at Childe and Diluc who's expression seemed neutral but off in a way as the air thickened
" Childe...?" You whisper and nudge lightly as everyone seemed to lighten up by talking again
" I'm fine" Childe smiled and leaned down to your ear
" they already spun the bottle again" Childe whispered before resuming back to normal
Diluc felt a sense of relief wash over him but also a sense of regret as if he wanted that kiss even though it was forbidden.
" Kokomi!" Ayaka almost yelled out as the bottle span to her
" good riddance" she mumbled as the circle bursted into laughter to accompany the tension

" sure" you nodded as everyone seemed to be knocked out by now
Standing up you trailed behind the man as he led you outside
Opening the doors for you, you were met with the freezing temperatures of the night
Covering your shoulders with your hands, you almost make out a hissing noise
" [y/n]? Are you cold?" Childe noticed your reaction immediately as you admitted shyly
" here" Childe took of his jacket and draped it over your shoulders
" Childe! Won't you be cold?" You try to take the jacket off but hands stopping you from doing so
" I'm fine...I'm used to the cold" Childes gleaming smile alone warming you up
" but..." you felt guilt wash over you
" no buts! I'm fine...really!" Childe kissed your forehead in reassurance
" well...what did you want to talk to me about..?" You remembered as Childe gave you a thinking face
" well... let's hang out tomorrow!" Childe excitedly held your hands
" hang out...? But you have to train? Don't you?" You pressed questions as Childe interrupted your speech with a fulfilling kiss
