Prachi munched on her chips while staring at her phone, looking at the news of her father, Prachi was a fashion designer, and she was also the daughter of one of the most loved singers in the country, Abhishek Mehra, who also owned the famous music company Fusion Beats, and had a lovely mother who was a professor, and then there was her twin Rhea who was currently just sitting on the bed doing nothing but watching her phone, playing web series

"Rhea! I'm going out" Prachi muttered and left the room, which went unnoticed by the other twin as she slammed the door shut and took her car keys as her phone rang

She picked up her friend Shahana's call and waited for the other female to speak first while walking down the stairs, looking at random places only to barely stop herself from tripping

"Prachi! it's your birthday tomorrow! what are your plans? I was hoping we'd celebrate at your place" Shahana muttered from the other side Prachi rolled her eyes

"Nah, mum told me something important is there, and that I can't leave the house until dad comes home, don't really know what it is, but that's probably it, and if I get some time, then we could probably go to the movies and have cakes and chocolates" Prachi muttered making Shahana snort

"why was I even expecting something from you? The simple loving person, arent you? well, guess I'll come over by tonight and then we'll spend the night together watching Netflix" Shahana grinned at her decision making Prachi chuckle

"I can imagine how funny you look right now" Prachi muttered making the other roll her eyes

"Sure" Shahana pouted

"I know right, well, bye" Prachi reached her car and got in, driving off to her workplace after she hung up

"Ranbir, you have been managing the business very well, I must say you have been working very hard for these few years" Vikram said to his son who looked at him uninterested in the talk

"where are we going with this?" he asked waiting for Vikram to speak to the point as he took another sip of his coffee and closed his laptop, waiting for his father to answer

"So, you should deserve a lot more than what you have, you have invested years in this business and it's time that you are old enough to-" Vikram paused making Ranbir groan

"I don't have a lot of time left, stop beating around the bush and let me know what exactly you mean to say" Ranbir muttered looking around in his office, the duo was currently sitting in Ranbir's cabin, Ranbir was one of the most successful businessmen in the country and had been in the industry for three years now

"I am not going to make you the CEO that easily, you will have to agree on one condition for that to happen" Vikram said and got up, placing the cup of tea on the table nearby

"Your mother will let you know what it is about" He said before leaving the cabin, making Ranbir wonder what else his parents wanted for him to finally have the complete right over the company

He got up, left his cabin and went to his car after checking everything with his secretary, after a huge debate in his mind had decided to drive himself to a mall to get some supplies

"Sir, where do you want to go?" Ranbir looked t the driver and sighed

"I'll drive myself, thank you" He said making the driver nod as he got out of the car and handed the keys to the young adult
