As I stood on the threshold of a new chapter in my life, the anticipation and excitement in my heart were palpable. The crisp autumn air carried the promise of endless opportunities and new beginnings, as I prepared to embark on my journey as a teacher of English.

Although it wasn't my initial choice, I felt fortunate to have secured a place in a prestigious school located in the bustling city next to mine.

Reflecting upon my past experiences, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of leaving behind my beloved programming. However, I was determined to

embrace this new challenge and channel all my energy and passion into becoming the best English teacher I could be.

The prospect of being surrounded by like-minded individuals, who shared my passion for teaching and learning, was exhilarating. I couldn't wait to immerse myself in the dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment of my new school.

In particular, I was excited about the opportunities to hone my language skills, thanks to the insightful conversations I had shared with Olivia. Her infectious enthusiasm and love for the English language ignited a fire within me, propelling me towards excellence and proficiency.

With a heart full of hope and determination, I stepped forward, ready to embrace the adventure that lay ahead.

Preparing to embark on a new chapter of my life, entering into a brand-new school, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey that brought me here. I thought of Jasmine, the love of my life, who had departed this world far too soon, and imagined how she would feel about my current path. Despite her physical absence, I could feel her presence and support as I considered the impact that I would have on the young minds that I would be teaching.

I was filled with a sense of purpose and fulfilment as I contemplated how I could help shape and mould the lives of these students. It was a responsibility that I took seriously, knowing that each interaction with these young minds could have a profound impact on their future. I was eager to share my knowledge and experience, to guide them on their journey of self-discovery and growth.

As I entered into this new role, I felt grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children. While Jasmine may no longer be here with us, I knew that she would be proud of the positive impact I was making on the world, one student at a time.

Memories flood my mind of Jasmine and me, dreaming up a beautiful idea of visiting charities and orphanages to provide free lessons to the children there. Our hearts were filled with the desire to make a positive impact on these young lives, and we were determined to see our vision come to life.

Although circumstances have changed and I find myself in a different setting, the intentions remain the same. Today, I am thrilled to be carrying on the legacy we created by offering free lessons to high school students. It may not be

exactly what we had envisioned, but I know Jasmine would be proud of the impact we are making. Together, we had a dream, and today, I am honoured to see that dream become a reality.
