"Momo," her father's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Yes, dad?" Momo replied, trying to maintain her composure.

"Remember the girl that you used to have a crush on years ago?"

Momo's face reddened at the mention of her past crush. She cleared her throat awkwardly, attempting to hide her embarrassment. "You mean Y/n? Like Chou Y/n?" she stammered out.

Her father raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Why? Do you have a girlfriend or--"

"NO!" Momo interrupted hastily, her cheeks flushing even deeper. "I mean, no, I don't. Just curious," she mumbled, unable to meet her father's gaze.

Momo's father chuckled softly, clearly amused by his daughter's flustered response. "Just curious, huh?" he teased, a playful glint in his eyes.

Momo nodded sheepishly, feeling her cheeks burn with embarrassment. She had never been good at hiding her feelings, especially when it came to Y/n.

"Well, I just wanted to let you know that the Chous reached out to us," her father continued, his tone turning serious.

Momo's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Y/n's family. "The Chous?" she echoed, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes, it seems they're arranging a marriage for Y/n," her father explained, watching her reaction carefully.

Momo's eyes widened in surprise, her mind reeling with a mix of emotions. "Marriage?" she repeated, the word feeling foreign on her tongue.

Her father nodded solemnly. "Yes, and they've requested that we attend a family meeting tomorrow to discuss the details."

Momo's thoughts raced as she processed the news. She couldn't shake the feeling of regret for not confessing her feelings to Y/n when she had the chance. Now, it seemed like it was too late.

Momo's heart pounded in her chest as her father's words sank in. The room fell silent, all eyes turning to her father for confirmation.

Her father's expression softened, his gaze meeting Momo's with understanding. "Yes, Momo. You are the one they've chosen to marry Y/n."

The words hung in the air, echoing in Momo's mind as she struggled to process the enormity of the revelation. Marry Y/n? The thought sent a surge of emotions coursing through her, a mixture of excitement, disbelief, and a hint of fear.

"But... wait me?" Momo stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Her father smiled warmly, reaching out to place a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Because they believe you're the perfect match for her, Momo. And after everything we've discussed, I believe it too."

Momo's mind raced with questions, her thoughts spinning as she tried to make sense of it all. She had spent years harboring feelings for Y/n, never daring to hope that her love could be reciprocated. And now, here she was, on the verge of marrying the person she had always dreamed of.

As the reality of the situation settled over her, Momo felt a sense of peace wash over her. Despite the uncertainty and the challenges that lay ahead, she knew deep down that this was where she was meant to be.

With a newfound sense of purpose, Momo squared her shoulders and met her father's gaze with determination. "I'll do it," she said, her voice steady and resolute. "I'll marry Y/n."

Her father's smile widened, pride shining in his eyes as he pulled her into a warm embrace. "I'm proud of you, Momo," he said softly. "I know you'll make a wonderful wife."
