Chapter eleven| 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚

𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫.

"What's up with you", Y/n nudged the brunette sitting next to her staring into nowhere

"Don't you think Haru has been acting weird lately",

"Weird as in?" Y/n rubbed her chin

𝐑𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐎𝐕

The sun was about to set and I was making my way back to my house from
Y/n's house with this big basket of chocolates not sure what to do with it.

"Maybe I'll just give them to some random kids playing at the park," I thought to myself

I liked the idea so I changed my direction and made my way to the park. However, I heard someone call out my name in a distance.

"Ren-san" I saw Kaito running towards me.

Kaito is my classmate, he is renowned for his charms. He is a good-looking guy with golden hair and deep green eyes. He is tall. He is very tall. No wonder he is the captain of the basketball team.
He asked me out last week, but I rejected him, don't know why.

"Where are you heading to?" he gave me a big bright smile while glancing at the basket in my hand

"Uh-" I gave him an awkward smile

"Are these for someone?" He spoke again but this time stepping closer towards me.

"Urm- Actually - "
Why am I stuttering? God this is so weird. I don't want people from school to know I made chocolates just to hand them out to random kids

"Do you mind if I take one?" He spoke again taking one more step forward, his lips curled into a half smile while his tall figure hovered over mine and I stared into his deep green eyes, not knowing the correct words to speak.

Oh I know why I rejected him I guess, he is too pushy sometimes

"Ren" I heard a familiar voice

Oh Thankgod Haru, Perfect timing.
I pushed the blonde lightly so I could move away from him and I jogged towards Haru.
He had his usual bored expression on his face while I gave him a big smile.

"I was on my way to see Haru", I gave a light chuckle to Kaito

"I can still have those chocolates, Right Ren-san?" Kaito chuckled back rubbing his nape

"You can't. Those are for me", Haru scoffed as he glared at the blonde while he snatched the basket from my hands

Kaito seemed to be taken aback by his abruptness and For me, I just stared at him blankly

"Aren't they ?" Haru raised his brow as he stared into my eyes while I just nodded in response.

Kaito did seem a bit offended but he managed to mask it with a smile, perhaps a fake smile.

"See you then, Ren-san", He waved moving past Haru completely ignoring his presence

"You're a lifesaver, Haru," I say as I strolled beside him. He didn't reply.
