Taehyung was continuously trying Jimin's number but was getting no response. He crossed checked at the place of his part-time job but they informed that he's been on a leave for past 2 days. This shocked Taehyung even more because he didn't know about it. After trying a few more times he decided to go on streets and look for his missing soulmate. His best friend was very chatty and chirpy around him. He was someone who liked attention and showered his best friend with even more attention as a sign of letting him know that he's loved. Jimin was someone who would continuously spam his phone with endless texts and funny selfies, which Tae absolutely loved, but for the last 5 hours he hasn't received any of such things.

How did something so evident was missed by Taehyung? He was drowning in worry and guilt because what happened between him and Jungkook bothered him a lot and he ended up ignoring Jimin and his screaming silence. 

As soon as Taehyung mindlessly opened the door, he bumped into someone. As soon as his eyes landed on Jungkook he couldn't control himself and broke into tears. Jungkook immediately pulled him into a hug, letting him rest on his shoulder while sobs escaped his mouth.

"H--how can I-I not know?", Taehyung said between the sobs, "h-he's missing--", unable to form a sentence, still he tried.

"Its okay...just...calm down please", Jungkook said seeing the vulnerable state of his friend, "he'll come back, just calm down", he kept patting his back to calm Taehyung, "Hobi hyung informed that all the others are searching for Jimin hyung, okay?", said in soft tone.

--time skipped--

Taehyung stilled sniffled every then and now, still resting his head on Jungkook's shoulder. The younger kept rubbing his back to keep him calm. They haven't got any response from others about Jimin.

"Taehyungie hyung?", Jungkook said in small voice. Taehyung raised his head at the sudden nickname the younger gave him and nodded slowly, "I think you should have your dinner. You haven't eaten all day", Taehyung was about to deny what Jungkook said, "don't even try to say anything. I know am right", Jungkook said in concerned voice, to which Taehyung didn't fight anymore. "Skipping meals to manage finances? what kind of stupid way is that", Jungkook mildly scolded in a small voice. "C'mon let's have dinner, you are getting skinnier", with that Jungkook fed Taehyung and the latter like a child opened his mouth whenever the younger would bring the bite to his lips and raise an eyebrow, scolding him through eyes, signaling him to open his mouth.

Another hour passed, Taehyung was getting impatient now when a click sound of the door knob was heard.

A very depressed Jimin entered the cabin apartment, supported by Jin and Namjoon, followed by Hobi and Suga. "What happened? Jimin? Jim? Chimmy? What happened to him Jin hyung?" Taehyung showered the elder two with questions panicking at the vulnerable sight of his best friend. Jungkook quickly held him by the arm, "Let him rest Tae", the younger said softly to Taehyung.

"We found him at the college rooftop. He was locked there. And his phone was found in the field, the screen is crushed but its working i guess", Namjoon handed over the broken phone to Taehyung, who took a look at the device's state and now averted his eyes on his best friend who was blankly looking into space. Eyes red, puffy face, dark circles but he wasn't crying as if he had already shed all his tears.

"Chim what happened? Talk to me", Taehyung held his shoulder and tried to look him in the eyes. That was enough to break Jimin. He instantly hugged his best friend as if his life depended on it, loud sobs escaping his mouth.
