Ch-69 One last time

Sang Tae, took BTS to a room, followed by his 5 friends.

"These are the clothes we got for you, to wear for the open interview", Sang Tae gestured towards a set clothes hanging.

Nobody moved. BTS were still trying to process the past events. They couldn't believe that Jungkook was actually proven innocent.

Sang Tae understood their state of mind and said, "I know, there must be a lot of things going through your mind but right now you've got an open inter----", Suga cut him mid-speech.

"BTS has announced disbandment dude", Suga deadpanned him.

All the eyes were directed on him now. Sang Tae panicked and said, "I know, I saw all your posts yesterday, but please, I request please don't blow this up! And moreover, Jungkook hyung has been already proven innocent, there's nothing to worry"

Suga whipped his eyes out of frustration from the pleading boy. He was hurt by everyone giving up so easy.

Namjoon now said, "Suga hyung, I understand you're hurt. None of us, actually wanted to do that. Me and Tae, literally pleaded the authorities for proofs but were denied"

"Joon, I am not hurt by what you did. I hope you know that", Suga said while eyes were directed at Jimin and Jin.

"Sorry Suga", Suga's attention whipped away from the direction of the person who apologized.

Jin sighed and continued, "whatever I said, whatever I did. Am sorry for that"

Hobi added, "I am sorry too Suga, I was just concerned about my brother"

Just when Jimin was about to apologize as well, Sang Tae interrupted in urgency, "am sorry to do this to you guys, but Rebel roses group's interview has already started. You guys need to hurry up"

BTS reached backstage, all dressed up. There was so much unsaid and so many unresolved emotions. Pending apologies. But they had to bury everything for a while, because right now they're BTS.

Taehyung didn't leave Jungkook's side, unsure about what might be going on in the younger's mind. So much had happened and they didn't have the time to process any of the emotions. Everyone was silent.

Namjoon stood up abiding by his responsibilities of being BTS leader, and to give a motivational boost to his team.

"Okay guys, um, I don't know what to say but just let's be BTS for now, like old times, yeah? Just for this moment, let's be one as BTS.", Namjoon said with unsure emotions.

"I know, we still have so much to mend what was damaged in the past few days but let's not forget why we stand here. Armys made us stand here. They fought so hard, just for us. Bury your worries, just for this moment."

"I am not dreaming about performing tomorrow, no! That's not a decision to be made alone. Hence, take this opportunity to thank our fans, our supporters, one last time, who made sure that justice is done in our favor, yeah?"

Namjoon waited for a response and everyone nodded in agreement.

"So come forward", he added and stretched his hand, palm up, "let's cheer for our team, one---", his voice got heavy with emotions overwhelming him and he immediately got a hold of himself and sighed before continuing, "one last time"

Everyone was equally overwhelmed and completely understood the weight of responsibility that they so first Hobi, the Tae, Jimin and Jungkook, finally Jin stood up to join. Suga remain seated. So Jin stretched his hand to Suga asking him to come forward and after a few seconds he too joined and they all screamed their chant in unison..
