This is the last chapter of The Devil's Touch. Epilogue is exclusive for VIPs and Patreon, since the very start I put author's note. No unnecessary and unrespectful comments please.

The hardest part of writing a novel is reaching the end. Though, it's also the sweetest way of telling us that we made it. We finished another story despite the drought moments.

Thank you so much for staying with Ethan and Fatima! May their journey teach you lessons that you will carry in your heart. I assure you that this won't be the last from the Suarezes. On to the next! ♥️

Chapter 65

"You seriously don't need to do this, Fatima. I can find work here and raise my child all by myself."

"I know. I'm not belittling you and your capability. We just want to help, Adella. We promised Oliver that we will take care of his family."

Malungkot siyang ngumiti. Her gray eyes were filled with tears.

"It's been months since he left us. The pain is still fresh. I can even remember the last night that we were together. We were happy. We laughed about random things. He told me how much he loved me..." her voice broke into tears. "I didn't know that it would be the last."

Though I knew that we didn't ask him to be there on that one fatal day, I feel like it's all because of me why he sacrificed himself to save Ethan.

He felt indebted to him. I just pray that wherever he is right now, he can find peace. Silang dalawa ni Royce.

"Oliver will always live in our hearts, Adella. No matter what happens, we will never forget him. We are now family. We are here for you."

It was a painful moment — seeing them breakdown in front of Oliver's coffin.

He knew what happened. He knew that his father was dead. That he won't come back anymore.

"Is this the last paper bag, Fatima?"

He was holding a huge brown paper bag. It will be their first day on their new house that Ethan bought for them.

"Oo, last na iyan."

"Those are enough to feed us for the next months. You bought too many." aniya.
