In a world where 10% of the galaxy's population has something called 'Bond streak'. A unique streak of hair with a special color of the sibling they have the strongest bond with. Some people call it a blessing, some people claims it's a curse

The Bond streak connects them to their bonded sibling through the mind. The color of the streak will also be the color that represents each other's sibling the best

They can also know their sibling's health status through the streak color. Whenever the color becomes dull, your sibling is ill or injured. Whenever the color is opaque, the sibling is healthy and well. But when the streak fades to black, the sibling is gone

The streak will also fade to white whenever the siblings haven't seen each other for more than 4 years. And the color only comes back when the siblings reunite once again. Side effects can also be felt by the sibling if they haven't seen each other, such as tiredness, fatigue, nauseousness, etc. But if they hadn't still meet for another year, death may be the next side effect

And boboiboy is apart of this 10%, but the streak of his hair has faded to white since he was 10. He was surprised he survived this long without seeing 'him'. He haven't met him for 6 years, he passed his supposed due date

Not wanting to tell anyone about his bond. He lied, Telling everyone that the white streak was just inherited genetics

Even though no one aside from his family knows about his unique streak, he still would rather cover it with his signature cap than to see it and get reminded of unwanted memories

Although, he has been feeling two of the side effects already. Feeling fatigue even though he haven't felt fatigue for months due to his body getting used to the feeling. He also has been feeling nauseous lately

His friends noticed it. They begged their leader to take a rest, he agreed even though he knows it won't work. After a week of rest, he pretended to be alright and it didn't really work on his friends, but they let him join on missions due to boboiboy's stubbornness

"UGHH!"

Boboiboy whined on his bed. It was too painful to move any part of his body, but his leg was itchy. He forced his right hand to take care of the itchiness, with the price of pain

Meanwhile, gopal only listened to his best friend's whines of anguish in the middle of the night. He swears, one day he's gonna move to fang's room just to get a good night rest

But boboiboy is still his friend. "Uh, you alright there buddy?" gopal asked, worried for his friend. And at the same time wishing he would just shut up

Boboiboy quickly shut his mouth, he didn't know gopal was awake. And hell, he doesn't want someone to find out his own predicament-AKA; Battling the itchiness of his leg

"You're still awake?" boboiboy questioned back

"Why wouldn't I be. With your whining, who wouldn't wake up?" gopal playfully answered

"Sorry. I'll sleep now" boboiboy said

"If you're tired, you can just stay here and rest while we go to the mission" gopal suggested

Boboiboy wanted to agree so much, but he didn't want to be a burden to his friends and just let them do a possibly dangerous mission while he's resting in the station

"I'll come with. And I'm not tired!" boboiboy exclaimed, careful with his voice since other aliens are asleep

"If you say so" gopal said before finally getting back to sleep
