You should recognize Akarui, but who's this new friend of hers? His name is Ophis, which is Greek for 'serpent'. His downturned ears don't mean he's angry, they're just like that most of the time. This purple and black boy is just a couple years younger than Aka, who's in her early twenties. He's usually reserved and quiet, often in a foul mood, but can be affectionate around those who show kindness to him.
Ophis is about as straight as a circle.
He met Akarui in a bar, funny enough, after a messy breakup, and had to deal with her goofy drunkenness for a bit. Eventually he got her address from the bartender and escorted her home safely( what a gentleman), then returned to his house. Aka sought him out after she woke up, and they developed a sibling-like bond.
