Backstory: Madelaine lives in a very small village in the woods.she never had a family and grew up in an orphanage.Madelaine was well liked in the orphanage as she often helped the caretakers look after the other children and Madelaine would help the children with anything they needed.once Madelaine was an adult she moved into a small cottage and worked as a healer.She would tend to the villagers who were sick or injured and make sure they were cared for.Madelaine treated all her patients with care and love.she also looked after the villagers children and enjoyed playing with them and reading stories to them.however the village was under the control of a vampire who lived in a huge castle beyond the woods.one night the villagers found out the vampire was coming to collect people and drink their blood.the villagers weren't sure what to do however one person suggested they pick a young woman to be his bride.the villagers picked Madelaine since she was the most beautiful in the village as well as being a very compassionate person.they snuck into her home and gave her something that knocked her out before the woman dressed her in a beautiful gown.after they took her to the village cemetery and left her at an altar in the middle of the cemetery.they did feel guilty because Madelaine was always kind to them but knew they had no choice and prayed the vampire wouldn't hurt her.they left and not long after the vampire entered the cemetery.he found Madelaine and was instantly taken by how beautiful she was.he took her back to his castle so he could make her his bride for all eternity.
