Chapter 34 - End Notes

One Year Later~

The story of the Pizzaplex burning down had many, many theories behind it. Most of them were written off, it was easy to just think somebody had beef with the owner and wanted revenge. They actually did end up arresting someone, poor dude had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. When they investigated the scene, all the camera footage was destroyed. This covered your tracks. A really weird thing though that really messed with your head was the fact that they had found the bodies of the animatromics in the Parts & Service room along with an unidentified body. You knew who the body was obviously, but why were the animatronics there? It didn't matter though.

Why?

Because today was the day Freddy and you would finally be legally adopting Elizabeth and Micheal! It had been a treacherous year trying to get through the congested court system, while also adjusting to life outside of the pizza plex. But you made it! Moon had decided he wanted to be named Micheal, as he forgot his real name. Nobody knows why. Chica and Roxanne had gotten legally married and adopted several dogs. You never took Chica to be the kind to want dogs, but now that you think about her hyper behaviour, it made sense. Montegomery got a job as a traveling artist. He made A LOT of money and was constantly showering Elizabeth and Micheal with gifts. Belle was a model, it fit her.

You and Freddy? You guys opened a bakery together! Even though it went against a lot of Freddy's morals, you had taken the cash from the building before it burned down. It was just going to be destroyed if you left it, might as well use it. After finally escaping the pizza plex, none of you would eat pizza. Just the smell of it made you sick. Except for Chica, but nobody knew what was up with her. Even with all the new business that came with this new life, the whole gang managed to make it for the court hearing.

"Okay, we're here." Freddy announced. Micheal and Elizabeth jumped out of their seats, and Micheal almost swung his door into the car next to yours, but Freddy caught it. "Micheal, what have I said about being too impulsive?" Freddy eyed him. Micheal grinned cheekily. "Don't?" Freddy rolled his eyes and helped him out.

Once you got out, everybody else ran up to you excited to be there. Monty scooped up Micheal, and Chica did the same to Elizabeth, spinning her around in the air. "Auntie Chica? I'm kind of scared." Elizabeth whispered, so only Chica could hear. "There's nothing to worry about. If anything happens, Freddy will save you." She whispered back.

Monty pretended he was going to drop Micheal, scaring him but also making him giggle. "Monty, be careful!" Freddy yelled out in alarm. "You need to lighten up Freddy. You're gonna be under a lot of stress soon." He chuckled back. Freddy rolled his eyes, punching Monty in the arm softly.

Once you got into the building, the others left you, Freddy, Micheal, and Elizabeth to mentally prepare yourselves, and to find some seats before they were all taken. "Okay, you have to be on your best behaviour in here. Micheal, remember to use your inside voice. Ellie, make sure you speak up so the judge can hear you." And with that, you entered the courtroom.

3 hours later~

"Micheal, would you like (Y/n) and Freddy to be your parents?" The judge asked. "Yeah!" Micheal yelled for the whole court to hear. There were multiple chuckles from a few people around the room, and you heard Monty snort. "Elizabeth, would you like (Y/n) and Freddy to be your parents?" The judge turned to her. Ellie was a little shyer. "Yes ma'am.." She murmured.

The judge grinned. "Alright then." She slammed her gaval down. "Court dismissed!" Everybody started cheering and you hugged your two new children with tears in your eye. Obviously, some more papers would need to be signed, but at least you knew it all worked out. "Yes! You did it!" Chica squealed, running up to the four of you. Roxy ruffled Micheal's hair, smiling softly. Belle gave you a really tight hug, even though she didn't voice it much you knew she loved these kids as much as you did.

Monty chased Micheal and Elizabeth out of the room, pretending he was going to eat them or something. He was definitely a character.

That night, you slept soundly knowing everything was finally going right.
