Backstory

Chiaki was the heir to a major pharmaceutical company, since she was born as the only son of her parents. She was raised with high expectations on her, and her home life was very strict. Ever since she could remember, she questioned whether she was meant to be a boy at all. She kept her feelings to herself, going through all of high school as the gender she was assigned at birth. She's traveled the world and lived in different countries from France to Italy, among other things. She spent her high school years at a private boy's school in Italy, where she met the Marinos. As soon as she graduated from high school, she took the opportunity and moved with the Marinos to Japan. She came out to her parents shortly before. Fortunately, she was supported by her parents. She started her transition as soon as she settled down. She eventually dated Gilbert Busch, a friend of the Marinos for two years before they recently broke up. They are still on good terms. Currently, she is going to Ouran University, and she does party in her free time. She discovered she does not want to take care of the family business, leaving it to her younger brother.
