buzzz, buzzzz...buzzzzz
"mmhm" I groaned as i woke up only to see its 5 am
"Shit!" I yelled as i jumped up and woke everyone up
"Get yo ass up!!" I yelled
"What the fuck!?" Rowan yelled as she fell off the couch
"Mmmh im getting there" Kacey said
"..." And nothing from Tate
"We will leave him be" I said as i get ready
"Alright" Rowan said as she put the pillow down she was going to hit him with
"Rowan, get ready!" I told her
"Ok i am" She said as she grabbed her shirt
"And im looking away" Kacey said as he turned around and put his hat down
Rowan and i laughed a little bit
"Alright your good Kacey" We both said
"Your sure?" He said as he turned around
About 30 minutes later Rowan and i were feeding the horses and signing in. I still looked busted up (Like a busted up radiator, sorry had to get that out) from the night before but it is ok. But after we signed in we got the horses cleaned and tacked up then into the warm up arena to stretch out and walk around.
"Oak, wanna do barrels?" Rowan asking me to a challenge
"What kinda question is that Ro?" I asked with a smile
"Then lets go, Whos first me or you?" Rowan asked me
"Dont care really" I said back
"Kacey! Be a dear and time this will you?" Rowan asked him
"mmh? Oh yeah sure" Kacey said still waking up
"Thanks your the sweetest!" Rowan said then waited for him to nod as a 'ok, go'
Standard barrel pattern. Sixty feet to the first barrel. That's the money barrel. You got to be quick, smooth. Ninety feet to the second barrel. Crowd cheers me on. A hundred and five to the third. Come on! Faster! Dig in for that last sprint, the run home.
"Annnddd, Time! 20.635 seconds! Not bad for a warm up run!" Kacey cheered
"Dammit!" Rowan yelled then jumped off her horse took his tack off then put him away
"Rowan?" Kacey asked her and tried to follow her
"Dont. She wants to be alone" I told him
"But, She needs someone" He answered back
"I know, Just let her be, she went to the stands, we have eyes on her" I said back
"Im gonna get food, want anything?" Kacey asked
"Im good but she will take a Cherry Slushy and a small cup of ice" I told him, then smiled and patted his shoulder as he walked past
"lets go twister" I said to myself and my horse
"Watch Barrels Im going!!" I yelled out to the others in the arena
Nobody Moved
"HEY!! Watch Barrels!!" Someone yelled
"Thanks" I smiled at Tate
" 'course, now run i got you" He said as he pulled his phone out
I just smiled then took off to the first barrel, got a nice tight turn, then some strides to the second barrel, Sharp turn to the third, then a dead beat run to the start
