" Father? Mother? What is wrong?" Tÿlana asked as she walked into the pod. Her parents seemed to be in a heated conversation before she had walked in. Both of them looked at her and Ronal sighed, rubbing her temples and stepping away from her mate.
" Your mother's old village had been attacked." Tonowari told her, watching as her face fell and she quickly looked at her mother with concern. " Nothing bad happened..."
" Do not lie to her, Tonowari!" Ronal hissed at him, her temper rising. " The village was nearly burnt to the sand. An ilu was killed and few were injured. Do not look at our daughter and tell her nothing bad happened!"
" The village was being burnt?" Her voice cracked, taking the attention off of her father. Ronal and Tonowari looked at their daughter with sad looks. " Do they need assistance? We are in a truce, I can get a team and we can go help them!"
Ronal looked like she was going to agree with those words but Tonowari refused, " No, no. We need everyone here. In case..."
" In case of what?" Ao'nung mumbled as he walked in, sending his family slightly judgemental looks. " You were being very loud by the way."
" Ao'nung!" Both the females in the room seethed his name with such venom. The boy's eyes widened and he looked to his father for help but Tonowari looked anywhere but him.
" It was caused by demons...In Na'vi bodies. They had a human boy with them.." Ronal explained to her two children.
Tÿlana's mind quickly went to the Sully family. Kiri had poured out the whole story to her of why they had to seek refuge on the island in the first place. She had also explained Spider, the human boy, who had been taken captive by the avatars.
" Listen, this should not involve you two-" Tonowari tried to dismiss them but Ronal snapped her head over to him.
" They are the future of this clan, they should be involved!" The mother's voice was stern and deathly low.
" No, Ronal. This does not have to concern them right now. You two are dismissed." He gestured for his children to leave and so they did.
" Where is everyone?" Tÿlana was quick to switch the subject off of what had just gone down. Ao'nung looked at her.
" I do not know where the female Sully's are but everyone else is by the Three Brothers...They followed Lo'ak out there." Ao'nung told her.
" Payakan.." She mumbled and he nodded. " Let's go then."
When the two got there Tsireya was with Neteyam, grabbing his arm. Tÿlana watched as Lo'ak went into the mouth of Payakan and the girl resisted the urge of splurging a million of bad words to her brother. He didn't need to deal with her anger when he did nothing to deserve it.
