he was taking forever to come down so i shouted on him. no answer i decided to go onto instagram and have a scroll through to see what people were saying about my contract.
when i opened my phone i noticed i had 3 missed calls from dad and 26 texts telling me to get home. i quickly messaged mum knowing she must be wondering where is am.

so happy to finally have my dream of racing in formula one. a massive thank you to @redbullracing for giving me this opportunity. i hope to make you proud this season. i am also beyond privileged to become the first ever female f1 driver. i always wanted to do it for my mum who dreamed just as much as i did of the day i signed a profesional contract. love you mum x

after i had put up my posted i noticed i had so many new followers but a few jumped out at me. charles leclerc, lando norris and pierre gasly had all started following me. weird.i went to have a look at their profiles. i clicked on pierre's first. i'm sure i recognise him from somewhere i just brushed it off. then i looked at landos he seems sweet maybe i'll get to know him soon. then i looked at charles. wow. that's the only word i have to say about him.
ollie : "it's my favourite person"
he says while coming down the stairs.
lena : "olls!"
i run up and give him a hug. i feel like i haven't seen him in forever but we were literally out drinking the other day. that however is not the point. we go into the kitchen together and he started making some lunch for us.
ollie : "so spill why are you here and not celebrating with your family? oh wait your dad?" lena : "yeah, so basically i hadn't told him about the contract yet, i had only told mum. so the second his phone starts blowing up with people questioning why i'm signing for red bull he shouted me down to the kitchen. i say down and explained to him why and he started going off at me. so i went upstairs to get my phone then left. he's called me a bunch and keeps messaging me to get home. i messaged my mum to let her know where i am she said just let my dad get some time to cool off. i've never seen him like this before he was honestly scaring me"
ollie can round a hugged me. he knew i got really scared when people shout because it's not something i'm used to.
ollie : "it's okay love, you done what was best for you." lena : "thanks olls that means a lot coming from you" ollie : "how about we get the whole group round tonight to celebrate, we can invite mick, arthur, leah, and i'll get some of the drivers round so you can meet them!" lena : "really?" ollie : "of course i'll make a gc and we can invite them all" lena : "thanks olls"

me and ollie just kind of chilled for awhile before deciding to go to the shops and get some stuff for tonight. we both went in my car and just james out to some music. when we were driving though i got a call from dad.
ollie : "don't answer it lena" lena : "im just gonna check everything's ok"
i answered
toto : "lena it's about time you answered where on earth have you gone?" lena : "i've gone out with oliver dad" toto : "when will you be home" lena : "tomorrow i'm going to stay at ollie's tonight" toto : "that fine hut we NEED to talk to this"
he put an unnecessary amount of emphasis on the word need.
lena : "okay dad see you tomorrow" toto : "love you lena" lena : "love you dad"
