A faint bird song
I squeezed my eyes, rubbing my face in the pillow, before finally opening my eyes.
I was greeted by the soft breaths and relaxed face of the Witcher lying next to me.
Oh gods, our faces were barley inches away,
I felt my cheeks burn, I sat in the bed quickly but quietly careful not to wake Geralt up.
I took slow and calculated steps to the door and downstairs without one creak of wood,
That's a new record, who knew sleeping Geralt would bring the best in me like that.
I chuckled to myself.
Alright, let's start the day,

1- Wash our clothes
I made my way in the bathing room, I gathered Mine and Geralt's clothes, washed them, and left them to dry.

2- Make a dessert
A strawberry pie sounds heavenly right now.
I made my way to the kitchen and started the magic, I put the pie in the oven, then I looked up from the window, the storm is only getting worse, I can't even tell if the sun has risen or not, that's when it hit me, the poor horse

"Oh no, the poor horse" I said
"Roach?"
A voice came from behind making me jump

"Oh my gods !" I exclaimed I turned around pressing myself against the kitchen counter, putting my hand on my chest
"Sorry" he rasped

"Geralt, you nearly gave me a heart attack"

"Good morning, Lilliana" he smiled
"Good morning" I grumbled
"I see you're starting to like using my name" I whispered, putting the cloth I was drying my hands with on the counter.

"I was going to check on your horse" I said
"I totally forgot about Roach last night" he mumbled
"So her name is Roach, what a lovely name"

"I am gonna go check up on her and get her some more food and water" I said opening the door but the wind slammed the door wide open and nearly pushed me back behind.
Geralt closed the door, I gained back my composure and readjusted my clothes.

"Okay, let's try that again" I huffed, fixing my hair and getting the loose strands off my face violently

Geralt thought it looked cute.

I went for the door but suddenly I wasn't making it any further and I felt like I was floating, I looked down, my feet were indeed not on the ground and a strong arm was wrapped around my waist keeping me in place

"W-w.. what !?" I said looking back at Geralt

"You are not going anywhere in this weather and in these light clothes," he said.
"gonna get sick"
"I will go" he continued

"What ? No !" I said firmly
"I am supposed to be taking care of you, that's simply not happening" I insisted, he sighed.

"It's my horse" he shot.
"And you're my Witcher" I shot back.

His eyebrows raised in pure shock, if none of her actions caught him off guard yesterday     -which wasn't the case- this certainly did.

It seemed like it took her his shocked expression and a few minutes to process what she said for realization to hit her, she stuttered, and he watched her intently.

"Okay I-I I might have phrased this the wrong way" she muttered nervously, her cheeks flushed, he could see the redness making its way to her ears and neck.

"You are my.. my um my responsibility." She said looking away and putting her hand on her ear, brushing strands of her Ginger red hair back,

'god it took every bit of self control in me to not hold her, hug her and kiss her right now,'
Geralt thought.

"Yes, that's better" she whispered to herself but he heard anyway.

"Fine." He said, "We go together".
"What ?" I mumbled
