Review of Chapter 4 of 5

~ Sometime later after lunch ~

After lunch kiki decided to go walk around outside for a bit before class started, it was only 3:59am , so she had plenty of time to relax.
As she walked and walked thinking off into space, admiring the stars and the half moon shining down brightly, she suddenly remembered a memory flashing in her mind.

~ memory flash back ~

Kids were laughing in the distance as the sun settled behind the thick trees , birds chirping and crickets talking as fireflies danced around the mansion.

"Ayato-kun! Ayato-kun"! Shouts a little girl's voice. The girl and three little boys run around laughing and giggling as they chase after each other with twigs playing sword fight , seeing who'd win the little girl's heart.

"Come on onee-chan"! Shouts little ayato, "I'm trying ayato-kun"! Shouts the little girl as she tries catching up to ayato and their other two brothers.

But then the little girl trips and falls on her knees and elbows , "onee-chan"! Shouts the boys as they rush up to the little girl. The little girl starts sniffling as tiny tears roll down her cheeks , seeing blood scraped on her knees and elbows.

"It h-hurts ", says little kiki now sobbing in pain. " It's okay kikyo-chan, everything's going to be okay," says ayato as he gets down and comforts her while rubbing her back," kikyo-chan is it alright for me to lick your wound"? Asks little Laito

Kiki looks at Laito and smiles at him,"p-please Laito-sama ," she says still sobbing a little, " onee-chan may I sing your song,"? Asked Kanato while tightly holding his teddy bear against him, the one that kiki gave him.

She nods her head yes in response, and Kanato starts singing her melody,
" I see your monsters

I'll chase them away
I'll be your lighthouse

A cup of coffee still steaming
Staring back at me, it's blacker than the night

And I know it can't get worse than today

See, she's in the bathroom hoping I'm not in earshot
While she's getting used,".

As Kanato sings the song , not far from where the kids are, lord karlheinz himself stood by the water fountain listening and watching them comfort kiki , he smiles in joy and wishes them well and peace as they grow and then he teleports away.

" To the sound of a teardrop, splash it hits the tile
And I know it's been a while since you seen me
Smile and laugh like I used to
I've been in denial since it happened

I can't explain this so I'll keep it all inside

Told me this as she stared into my eyes, said

If you were in my head and had to hear my pleas
It's like I can't believe this is happening to me
And could someone please
Shut this fucking answering machine
So I can start leaving these messages
That you will never get
And all these cries for help
You'll never see and never check
But I guess it's easy for you to leave me
But believe me
See this isn't something that Ima just forget.

Suddenly someone stands next to the rose garden watching kiki and the brothers feeling envy and jealousy because the little girl was getting more attention than she was.

~ flashback Ends ~

~ present day ~

Little Kanato singing & older kiki singing :
"I would trade it all for one more minute
Don't you see I really need you to talk to
I'm still sitting here wondering who did it
While I'm staring out our front door

A blank stare as I stand so alone

As kiki sings away she never noticed someone watching her in the shadows , with eyes glowing red as blood, and the full moon glowing it's light brighter than it was before.

" And know you're never coming home (damn)

" That was beautiful," says a familiar voice, she suddenly quickly turns around and sees Subaruu standing behind her next too some white and black rose bushes.

" What are you doing here ,"? She asked him, as she turns back around and looks at the moon. Subaruu sat next to her on the bench also looking at the moon.

" Just thinking," she says , " thinking about what,"? He asks, she inhales the breezy night air, as the breeze comes and goes, her hair flows with it, both listening to the crickets of the night while watching the fireflies dance around.

" Tell me , kiki, why are you here,"? Subaruu asks, kiki thought for a moment knowing well about Subaruu, he wouldn't tell a soul about what she does , he likes to keep secrets especially hers.

" Something's coming," she says , Subaruu's eyes widened with her answer, " what do you mean,"? Subaruu asks feeling confused, " something dangerous is coming for us, something big and bloody, that's why I came," she says while looking at Subaruu with a serious face.

~ howls in the distance ~

They both look up to see the moon, knowing what's coming for them.
But they both knew that the others weren't ready for the upcoming battle ahead. So kiki and Subaruu made a pact agreement to not tell the others when they're ready to know.
