Selena Gomez Oneshots

Easter V2

(Y/n) POV:

Today is Easter and Ben is very excited. He's mostly excited for the egg hunt because he knows he doesn't have to share. Unless Gracie decides to play.

"Did the Easter bunny come yet?" Ben asked after he woke Selena and I up at 6am. "Yeah." I groaned and sat up. Now that I'm up I can't fall back asleep.

"You got an Easter basket!" Selena told Ben once he got downstairs. He ran over to the kitchen table and tried getting into his chair. Selena helped him up and he instantly took everything out of it.

"There's a book." Ben shrugged before putting it off to the side. I think it's an Easter book. He's not too fond of reading either way. "Maybe we can read it tonight before bedtime." Selena told him. Ben looked through all the other stuff and decided his favorite thing was the bubble kit.

I made breakfast for everyone and we now were just waiting on Selena's family. All of her family was coming over. Her mom, her stepdad, Gracie, and her biological dad. He has a wife and kids but he's the only one coming over. And not for very long. He said he could stop by for a bit before he needs to go celebrate with his family.

Mandy and Brian were here first. Gracie came in and gave everyone hugs before going to play with Ben. Then Selena's father arrived like 20 minutes later.

"Can we do the egg hunt now?" Ben asked and I nodded. "I think it's ready. Is Gracie playing too?" I told him and asked a question back. "No." Gracie told me. I gave her a thumbs up and handed Ben his basket.

"Okay, you know what to do?" I asked Ben. "Uh huh." He nodded. Everyone moved outside and watched as Ben walked around and collected the little plastic eggs. Every time he picked one up he would hold it until he found the next one. He would then pick the new one up and put the old egg down.

"Ben, when you get an egg you put it in your basket." I told him and put the egg he was holding into the basket. He nodded and kept looking for eggs.

"Whatcha thinking about?" I asked Selena when I sat back down next to her. She looked lost in thought. "Just never thought I would have this." She told me. "What do you mean?" I asked again. "With my lupus and the medication, I never thought I would get to have kids. But now I have Ben, and I finally get to be a mom. I get to watch him learn about the world around him and watch him grow. I just thought I would never have this and now I do and it feels wonderful." She explained. I nodded in understanding and gave her a hug.

"I done." Ben told us and showed us his basket. He only found like five. "There's so many more! You have to find them all!" I told him. "I can't find any." Ben told us. Selena stood up and grabbed his hand. "Let's go look for them, okay?" She told him and he nodded.

Together the two of them searched for eggs. Selena just guided him to the area with the eggs and he found them on his own.

"I gotta go." Selena's dad told me. "I can walk you out." I responded and stood up. I walked him out and we hugged as we said our goodbyes.

I went back to the backyard and saw Ben with a lot more eggs than before. Now he was leading Selena around and finding eggs. "There's one here!" Ben told Selena and held it up to her. She smiled at him and he put it in his basket.

After like ten more minutes Ben had found all of the eggs. "Did you find them all?" I asked Ben and he nodded. I took Ben inside and helped him open his eggs. He got a lot of candy. "I gots a dollar." Ben told me and took the dollar out of the egg. Selena came in and started making lunch for everyone. "Mommy I gots a dollar." Ben told her and held up his dollar. "That's so cool! You'll have to keep it and get more." She told him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"That's the golden egg!" I told Ben. "That one's special." I added. Selena was watching while making sandwiches for everyone. I made her get the sub style bread so they're really good.

"Woah, you got twenty dollars!" I gasped even though I knew what was already in it. If Gracie was playing it would've been more money but it was just Ben so the prize was a little less intense. A 3 year old doesn't need a hundred bucks.

Ben smiled and held up his money. "I gots twenty dollars!" Ben squealed and smiled. "You need to keep it safe." Selena told him. He nodded and handed it to her. She put it in her pocket and said she'd give it back later.

Ben went to go play with Gracie and they both wanted to go in the pool. Selena helped Ben into his swimsuit and I went to heat up the pool.

Soon enough both kids were having fun in the pool. Ben had to wear floaties but it didn't stop him from jumping in the pool like 70 times.

After another hour and a half went by and Ben was just getting out of the pool. He had a towel wrapped around him and was now munching on his turkey sandwich.

After eating Ben was basically asleep. He was still in his towel but he was more than ready for a nap. It was past his nap time anyway.

We were having so much fun that Selena's parents and Gracie stayed for dinner. Ben woke up from his nap at around four pm. Ben was playing with his trains while Selena and I made dinner. Mandy was playing with Ben while Gracie and Brian watched Tv.

When dinner was ready everyone sat down and we all talked about our summer plans while eating. After dinner everyone left and we got ready to end the day.

I washed the dishes while Selena gave Ben a bath. She was in charge of putting him to bed and I was in charge of cleaning up the house.

I finished cleaning up and went upstairs to go get ready for bed. On the way to my room I stopped into Ben's to say goodnight. Selena was reading him his new book.

I sat down next to Ben and Selena was on his other side. Ben was not falling asleep yet but he was slowly drifting off. By the time the story was over he was still awake.

"Sing." Ben told Selena. "What do you want me to sing?" She asked him. "The bedtime song. You haven't singed it yet." He pointed out. Selena nodded and sang the bedtime song and as soon as it was over Ben was out.

"That was easy." I whispered to Selena. "Yeah." She nodded and got up from her spot.
