"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" You were inside your dream, you heard an echoey scream coming from an unidentified direction. You hear hysterical laughter coming from in front of you, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE FINALLY ASLEEP!" A yellow triangle appeared, he was wearing a tophat and a bowtie... He looked around frantically, then stared down at your shocked expression, he himself looking confused and scared-like, nervously, "Oh, uh, hey kid!"

You stared up at him in shock, "Wh-who are you?" You just couldn't stare away. He was a yellow, brick-patterned, triangle. He had a tall black tophat floating up above him. And a simple-looking black bowtie under his one big cat-eye pupil eye. You remembered what you saw in the journal... Bill Cipher?..

The triangle calmed down as he adjusted his bowtie before he spoke, he sighed with his echoey electronic-like voice, "The name's Bill Cipher. But I guess you already know that..." Bill looked around your dream. You noticed that he glowed brighter as he talked. You were on a stone cliff on top of a canyon. Around you was a dense, dark green forest surrounding you. A little circle was cut out of the trees so that you could stand there, with Bill floating next to you. You look to your side, on the other side of the canyon is a large, beautiful, crystal-blue waterfall. The air felt fresh, and a bit chilly. It was a nice morning in your dream. "Wow, kid, you have some pretty vivid dreams..." Bill glanced at the waterfall, he looked back down at you, as you looked up at Bill. Bill came down to your face level, "So, I want to say thank you. Kid." You think about it... "Oh, I guess you weren't there when it happened... I'll tell you later," Bill said with his eye calmly looking at you.

You sit down to look at the waterfall, it was beautiful, to say the least. You muttered to yourself, thinking about this dream, "This is one of my more calmer dreams." You sit there for a bit, thinking about what had happened.

"This is a nice place, kid. Welp, I better get going! I have no business here!" Bill looked at you, relaxed, he closed his eye and snapped his fingers...

Snap. Snap. Snap. Bill stared in confusion and concern at the hand he was snapping with. "Wh-WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING!?" Bill yelled frantically.

You stand up to stare at Bill. You were also confused, and worried. In an instant, you feel something wrap around your right wrist and SNAP CLOSE. You peek down to see what it is, a light blue cuff... Bill put his left hand out in shock as the same, light blue cuff appeared and snapped around his wrist.

"No, no, no, no, NO!" Bill shouted in shock as he aggressively looked at his wrist with the cuff. Suddenly, thick blue chains bonded both of your wrists together with a jerk and a big CLACK. You look down frantically at your wrist as you then look up at Bill. He looked even more scared than before.

Weirdly... The chains felt to be weightless, but they still had a pull of gravity. They gave off no feeling... Like they almost didn't exist. But you could see them. The cuff had a hologram-like feel around your wrist...

Just as you were about to pick up the chain to examine it, Bill interrupted you by sighing nervously. "What-" You stuttered out until Bill frantically shouted, "THIS ISN'T HAPPENING. THIS ISN'T HAPPENING." You stand there in shock. You take a step back because you just don't know what to do.

Bill jabbed forward close to you and grabbed your right wrist. The chains lightly clattered against each other. Bill, still looking shocked at the whole situation, squeezed your wrist as you stared at each other intensely. A slight silence appeared between you two, and you nervously decide to break it, "What- what do these chains mean?" You question calmly. You were uneasy and dazed. Bill's eye relaxed as he released his grip. He must've realized how weird this encounter was because he quickly floated back and adjusted his bowtie nervously. Bill sighed as he closed his eye to recollect himself, he then calmly and informatively expressed, "These chains... Represent that we're soul bound..."
