NATASHA'S POV

I'll make him pay.

“Elaine!”

“Damn girl, who fuck with your mood today?” She looks at me while raising her eyebrow.

“Did you notice this random tall guy entering here just a moment ago?” I asked her desperately as I want to kick his ass right now.

“I did notice him because I greeted him, but eventually he left.” Naiilang na sagot ni Elaine sakin.

“Did you recognize his face or something?” Tanong niya.

“Nope.” I casually answered.

“Then how would you know if he's the man you're looking for when you didn't recognize his face?”  Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Elaine.

“For Adam's sake!” I just sit on the chair and let out the deepest sigh for the week.

“What's going on girl? Papunta pa naman tayo sa bar mamaya tapos ganiyan ka.” Elaine tries her best to make me smile even though I'm nearly punching something because I'm angry.

“This guy just bumped into me and he didn't even apologize. He just walked away and the things inside the box just totally went out, he didn't give me a hand either. Fuck!” Mahaba kong paliwanag.

Other customers just look at our spot while I try to open the other computer so I can check out the other customer's product.

“Damn… That's cruel how can he do that?” She said.

“There's a new ramen restaurant across here, wanna grab lunch right there?” Elaine asked.

“Sure, I miss eating ramen so I will come.” I happily answered.

It's already been eight years since I visited a Japanese restaurant to eat some Japanese food for fun, but it's in the past so I should not bring those experiences since I decided to live a life like I've never been before.

LUNCH TIME at nasa Japanese restaurant na kami ni Elaine at ang dalawang another part timer ng store ay ang naiwan sa loob for inspection and to check some expired and unexpired goods.

“Let's eat already!”

Ang tagal mo na kasing hindi umuuwi eh since the day I started to work in the store eh, nandoln ka na hindi man lang kita nakita o nabalitaang umuwi sa Pilipinas para mag bakasyon.” She started to ask me some question that I try to avoid.

“I don't have one.” I lied.

I can't let her discover what kind of family I have dahil alam kong iiwasan niya rin ako gaya ng ibang mga taong nakilala ko, it's better to tell a lie that to be true when it comes to this kind of conversation. I've been there already. I experienced a lot of betrayal challenges and being played by the people who knew about my family.

“I-i'm so sorry, I shouldn't have asked you.” Paghingi nito ng paumanhin.

“It's fine, I'm okay now.” I smiled at her and tried to convince her that I already accepted it.
