"Giyuu Tomioka.
Your devotion and sacrifice toward the Demon Slayer Corp is immeasurable.
As one of my closest children, I know you very well, and I know that you can't do such a thing as this proclaimed Shizuka guy has done."

Giyuu was bowing in front of Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
"Thank you, Oyakata-sama!
Your faith in me shall not be in vain."

Kagaya stood on his feet.
"While this person seems to be supporting us by killing demons means he is not particularly evil.
But someone as mysterious as him should not be considered an ally either.
Water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka.
I appoint you personally in revealing the identity of Shizuka and his intentions."
Giyuu looked at him.
"As you wish, Oyakata-sama."

Giyuu set off to search for Shizuka, and he had something in mind.
"The reports say that Shizuka is an expert in Water Breathing.
I need to talk with the only person I know to have taught this breathing to many.
Master Urokodaki."

With Tanjiro...
The night had just begun as Tanjiro entered the city that was rumoured to have demons.
"Now I should start searching before something happens."

Tanjiro started to search around the city for the demon, and soon enough, he started to smell blood and a demon near.
"It's here!"

Tanjiro ran inside a house and found a demon who was a bit to finish off a human.
He unsheathed his sword and was ready to kill it.
"Water Breathing!
First Form: Water Surface Slash!"

Tanjiro released a strong slash with the demon noticed and split himself in two between the attack's pattern.
The two copies of the demon ran away, and Tanjiro was ready to chase them, but he noticed that the human who the demon attacked was in a bad state.
"Nezuko, follow those demons while I take care of this guy."

Nezuko went out of the box immediately and followed the demons while Tanjiro treated the guy's wounds.
"His condition is bad, but I think he can make it."
With Giyuu...
Giyuu went to Urokodaki's house at night and stood there for a while to explain to him about the incidents and the Shizuka.
Urokodaki stood quietly and listened to Giyuu while making some questions here and there till the end of the explanation.

Urokodaki then stood up and took a deep breath.
"A swordsman of a high calibre using in a refined way the Water Breathing and sometimes in a more aggressive way.
Truly outstanding."

Giyuu then asked him.
"May you know who might that be?"

Urokodaki then started to think deeply.
"If there was someone else who might have said something like this to me, I would have called him crazy.
If I had seen such a person in front of me myself, I would have said that it would be hallucinations because of my old age.
But coming from you guys, this is truly unimaginable."

Urokodaki looked at Giyuu and asked him seriously.
"Is Tanjiro aware of this?"

Giyuu was surprised by the question.
"I think he should have heard this too.
But what has he to do with anything?"

Urokodaki lowed his voice while saying something he didn't truly believe should be real.
"I think a student of mine has survived the Final Selection but chose to never come back."

This got Giyuu truly shocked.

With Tanjiro...
After treating the guy, Tanjiro ran to Nezuko immediately,but as he was running, he noticed someone rushing to the placewheret the guy he treated was.
It was a person wearing a mask and with a katana on his hand.
"Is that Shizuka?"

But the shocking fact was that Tanjiro began to smell the scent of a strong demon.
Tanjiro went to the house as fast as he could but was shocked to see that Shizuka had cut the head off the guy.
He was terrified as he saw the blood covering the floor coming from the dead guy.Shizuka stood there coldly and soon turned his face at Tanjiro.
"ALL THE DEMONS SHALL BE ANNIHILATED!"

Tanjiro looked at the dead guy, and it seemed that he was beginning to turn into a demon, but the shocking thing was that the scent of Shizuka was the same as that of demon of the Twelve Kizuki.
"You are not running away now!"

Tanjiro ran toward Shizuka without thinking twice in order to attack it.
"Dance of the Fire God!"

Without letting him finish his move, Shizuka approached Tanjiro sneakily and punched him so hard that the boy fainted in the arm of it.
"FIGHTING YOU HUMANS IS FUTILE AND NONE OF MY INTENTIONS !"

Nezuko was chasing the demon that split in two, but suddenly, she lost track of him.
She looked around and suddenly noticed someone.

It was again Shizuka, but this time, it looked taller and with a more build-up body.

Shizuka was holding the demon's head that Nezuko was chasing, and suddenly, after noticing Nezuko, he threw it away.

Nezuko sensed very well the danger that was coming and the bloodlust this person had against her or all the demons.
Shizuka aggressively unsheathed its sword.
"All THE DEMONS SHALL BE DESTROYED!

The long night had already begun.
