Chapter 14

Gem pov:

The sound of beeping monitor filled the silent room while I sat next to fourth rubbing my hand through his hair with heavy heart my eyes fixed on his sleeping form that hasn't moved since I got here his forehead wrapped with bandages and his face lased with blood. When win called me I felt the air got knock out of me I have never felt so scared in my entire life even when I was almost killed nothing has ever scared me till now the image of fourth laying on the bed bleeding out of his head it hurts knowing the reason his here makes it worst

"His vitals are okay just a broken rib I think he's going to wake up any time soon" the doctor says writing down something on his book

"You sure satang?" Winny voices questioning

"Yes thanawin I know my job" he groans

"Just making sure"Winny shrugs " you sound sleepy"

"You called me around 12am what do you think?" That shut Winny up as the doctor gaze soften looking at him before he sighs turning to me "Let me know if he wakes up just hit that button" he points my eyes follows nodding as I stare at the weird looking pink button "I'll be in my office"

"Thank you" I say he nods walking away not before peeking at win "he likes you"

"I know" Winny nods

"Age gap?"

"No it's just...I don't know it complicated" he says I nod in understanding "I will be right back"

I stare back at fourth holding his hand hoping he will open his eyes and let me explain everything Asif he heard me I immediately stand up when he moved a little turning into squirming I pressed the button.  A loud groan came from him before he opens one eye his wide eye dance around the room before landing on me he stare at me for a while before closing it and groaning

"Fourth" I call with a low whisper rubbing my finger on his palm

"My head"he groans opening both his eyes he brushes his head with his hand his finger touches the bandage wrap on his forehead making him freeze "what happ-"

"Fourth!" Win shout cutting him off as he runs into the room hugging him "you scared me Jesus Christ!"

"Ouch" Fourth mumble

"Sorry!" Win pulls away rubbing his head as the doctor walks in fixing his tie

"What happened?"

"You hit a branch" win says "it hit you on the head taking you out of my car"

"Oh"

"I thought that only happens in movies one minute I was laughing at a naked someone next I was holding a bleeding person It was so scary" win rumbles "now I have to get rid of that car cause of you"

"Feeling any pains except from your head and ribs?"the doctor asks Fourth shakes his head before whining "I don't think you should be moving your head lucky you didn't crack your skull"He moves over to him injecting something into his drip pipe "I suggest you stay here for a day call me if anything" We nod as he smiles walking away

"Do you want anything? Drinks? Snacks?" Win pulls his phone out

"Am okay thanks"fourth whispers groaning he tries to sit up I quickly held his hand to help him he pulls his hand from mine making my heart tighten as I watch him whine in pain trying to sit up

"Fou-"

"I don't need your help" he sharply cut me off I felt my heart crack open as I inhale ignoring the pain I wrap my hand around him trying to sit him up"let me go!"
