Making it home never felt so good. I know Callum left after making sure I was inside. I can't feel him standing close anymore. It's an overwhelming feeling of loss. I need to get my head straight if I want to graduate early. To put this behind me and start my career. God I sound like I'm going to be this big shot. All I want to do is write books in the comfort of my home... It seems so long ago when I finally decided what I wanted to do after I escaped him. There's something deep inside telling me to go to those two but I can't bring myself to act on it..just yet. Plus if they reject me that would be the topping on the cake that would send me over.

I can tell I'm sleeping, everything around me is peaceful. I never really had vivid dreams but since moving here, they don't stop. It's dark outside, I always find myself outside in theses dreams. No one is around for miles it seems. My feet take me down a rough, dirt road, my eyes scanning the scenery around. My eyes fall closed to a brief second on their own accord. Breathing in the cold fall air has always been a relaxing habit of mine. A sound brings my eyes open, looking around I don't notice anything moving. Starting to walk backwards I hear a twig snap close by. My body frozen, unable to continue backwards. I can feel them close but I can't see them anywhere. My breath comes slow, casting in front of my face. My finger tips start to tingle. The wind picking up, I feel someone walking to my right side. I don't dare to move an inch. Just wait Aura, they will show. Finger tips slowly run up my arm, goosebumps spreading throughout my body. I gasp loudly, echoing around the silence. Another body behind me, an arm wrapping around my waist. I'm pulled backwards into their hold as the other man steps into my view. With my eyes dilated I stare at red eyes. So intense yet so hypnotizing. I can only assume Callum is behind me, his body molded to mine. His breath cascading around my neck. My body sets ablaze, red eyes brings his face closer as Callum drops small kisses down my neck. I close my eyes waiting for his lips to touch my own.

I wake with a start, my body is wet, soaked with sweat. The dreams seem to be getting stronger. My brain tells me to run, run away as fast as I can. Shaking my head I know deep down I will never be able to run from them. They seem to be something....not human. It sounds delusional but how else can I explain everything. The eyes, the way I feel. It's like an unnatural pull to be close.

Morning turns into midday, finishing one job was enough to pay my rent for the month. I always think back on the thoughts I had swimming in my head. Wondering how I was going to eat for the day. Now all I have to worry about it staying hidden. Thinking about food I find myself having to go out again. Anticipation wrecks my body as I step on to the sidewalk. Walking with my head held high this time, I look over my shoulder a little too much. People probably think I'm losing my mind when they notice me. Letting out a breath I didn't realize I was even holding I walk in with purpose. Get in and get out.

After a very awkward conversation with the clerk I head home and I'm hit with an overwhelming amount of Deja vu. Standing only a few feet in front of the side walk is Callum. I knew him or red eyes would be around I was just assuming they would stalk around. Hell he acts like he wants me to see him. Deciding to push the angst away, I make my way over to him. Gripping the two bags tightly to keep my mind calm, I hold eye contact.

"Following me now Cal?" Standing less then a foot away in dark jeans and a black polo he smiles. My feet urge me to walk around him. I find myself enthralled by his eyes.

"We haven't heard from you so I'm here to do a little check-in." Desire and anxiety swirl in my eyes, I know he can see it. Check-in..huh

"Well as you can see I'm perfectly fine." Smirking he grabs the bags out of my hands and turns walking away. Standing, staring at his back with my mouth slightly open confusion pulls my feet forward. Callum turns his head while walking and throws me a knowing look.
