I was washing the dishes from Steph's breakfast with my thoughts telling me that I needed to do something otherwise Matt and I were going to lose Stephanie.
"How is she?" Matt asked, moving up leaning across the counter next to me while I closed my eyes for a moment then turned to look at my obviously worried brother.
"I feel like she is giving up...we need to do something Matt." I answered watching him nod while I watched him cross his arms as I dried mine with the towel on the side of the sink.
"I know but what?" he wondered I pressed my hands on either side of the sink trying to think when I thought of an idea but I knew if I told Matt he wouldn't agree with me.
"I don't know...I'm going to go check Matt's archives for any other options, maybe I missed something. I'll call you if I find anything." I answered watching him nod as I turned moving down the hallway and traced my symbol across the front door. Opening it I entered the base seeing no one there, everyone was off today and I saw Matt Raub on the computer.
"Hello Kit...come to research more?" he asked with his back still to me but he could see my reflection in the computer glass.
"No...I'm going to lure out the Manticore." I answered watching Matt Raub turn to look at me with the expression of worry and concern on his face. Taking my crystal into my hand I saw Matt Raub getting ready to protest against the idea.
"Are you crazy? Do you want to be infected too?" he asked standing up from his chair while I tightened my grip on my crystal.
"Stephanie is running out of time Matt...this is the only option we have left. I lure him out and then we get Steph to destroy him clear and simple. And you're not going to stop me..." I reminded watching Matt Raub's jaw lock for a moment then he knew he wasn't going to be able to stop me when I came up with a decision.
"You know both Damien and your brother are going to kill me for letting you do this alone. Okay...just be careful Kit, as soon as you manage to get him I'll call the others in for backup." Matt Raub announced I nodded taking the crystal tightly into my hands and took in a deep breath.
"Mythic Knights Armor On!" I recited tracing the symbol representing Athena that activates my transformation sequence. I lowered my crystal tracing out the symbol that represented Athena then smacked its symbol that shredded my clothes revealing a black uniform. The symbol then began to spin around me placing on a pair of sapphire colored boots, a sapphire colored skirt that rested onto my thighs and a sapphire colored shawl rested onto my shoulders. A symbol of a sapphire colored owl pressed onto the center of my chest. My hands were covered with sapphire colored gloves that rested onto my forearms and then a sapphire colored helmet covered my head completely. A black visor covered my eyes so I can see as the symbol turned into two expendable batons. I held both hands up catching either baton into my hands; I spun them into my hands and posed like the statue Athena that was in the temple. After I was fully transformed Matt Raub transported me to a vacant part of the city that way the Manticore couldn't hurt anyone else. "Okay...Zander...I know you can see us just as we can see you. Give me your best shot!" About ten minutes pacing back and forth I sensed someone behind me as I turned seeing Zander, this is the first time I saw him alone.
