~~KAT
It has been a few days since Damien saved my soul from eternal damnation and for the two of us officially becoming an item. Apparently all of our friends knew about our feelings and never told us to act on them until now. It was a good moment to have during this long battle but that didn't mean that the Prophecy was going to remain on hold. We had two days before the Solar Eclipse and I was still stumped on the final ingredient in the Prophecy. Matt Raub was away checking with the other keepers for any clues that could help us with the Prophecy. The Greek writing meant so many things but nothing fitting what the Prophecy desired. Damien was working out with my brother to help him learn some more techniques as I began to get frustrated slamming a fist onto the table.
"Kat? You alright?" my brother asked panting wiping the sweat from his brow as Damien also turned to look at me.
"It's this last translation. Every angle I try nothing fits. Either this symbol means it is Virgin Greek or Virgin Blood." I answered bracing my hands to wipe the tiredness from my face and when I removed my hands I saw both Damien and Matt next to me. Damien's brown eyes scanned the document while my brother who was behind me braced his hands onto my shoulders to reassure me.
"Maybe you are looking at the whole sentence wrong?" Damien began, I turned, giving him a glare wondering if he thought I was an idiot or something. He moved to the keyboard typing a few keys before a new search engine began translating. "I learned this from your brother when he was deciphering speech by colors in that FNAF video."
"Isn't that the one where I distinguished the different yellow fonts?" Matt asked behind me watching Damien nod before the look of shock hit my face.
"Wow...didn't think of that." I answered seeing him smile patting my head like I was a smart little dog forcing an eye roll from me. The computer began to beep when I saw the ending of the prophecy but I didn't get the chance to speak. A small explosion in front of us caused us all to duck and through the smoke we saw a small army of Soulless entering. Jumping from my seat with Matt and Damien at my heels we stood in front of the monitor in a protective nature. Walking through the smoke was Zander with his sword pressed on his shoulder.
"Hello Knights or should I say Smosh Games and Game Theory?" he snickered my hand clenched into a fist and my brown eyes hardened at him. He looked around at the base moving in front of his army. "Nice base. You know it took me a while to find you all but when Ares over there went to save Athena from the Room of Souls it gave me your real names. Damien Haas...Katherine and Matthew Patrick." He pointed to the three of us as he recited our real names.
"What do you want, Zander?" Matt asked next to me while Zander's dark empty eyes moved from me to him and an evil smile perched on his lips.
"I'm here for the final piece of my Prophecy..." he answered I took a step forward knowing that we had it on the screen behind me. The three of us knew that we couldn't let him see it no matter what.
"Not going to happen." I hissed looking at them which they nodded as we swiftly ripped the crystals from our necks.
"Mythic Knights Armor On!" the three of us yelled tracing the symbols and activating the transformation sequence. After we armored up we drew our weapons and charged at Zander's army. I knocked a few of them from me to get to Zander while Damien and Matt took the other Soulless. I hoped that the others would arrive soon as backup but right now we had to do our best for now. Both of my batons caught Zander's sword seeing him snicker slightly at my attempts to stop him.
"You will never complete the Prophecy." I replied seeing him now snickering even more until a swift swipe of his blade disarmed me and he threw a kick into my chest. I crashed into the statue of Apollo behind me when Zander stood in front of me. His hand closed into a fist near me as my heart began to squeeze in my chest. I gasped clutching my chest when I heard both Damien and Matt shout my name in the distance. Zander lowered himself to my eye level keeping a fist preventing me from moving from where I was.
"Well then Katherine...I may not be able to see the answer but I have something much better. The translator." He laughed breaking his fist to press his hand onto my head probing into my thoughts. I couldn't break his connection as he released my helmet which caused me to demorph and locked eyes with me again. "So that's the answer? Excellent." Before I could stop him I felt his hand grab my arm and the last thing I heard was Damien and Matt call my name when I vanished with Zander.
~~MATT
As soon as Zander vanished with Kat the rest of the Soulless vanished from our base and the rest of our team arrived just as that happened.
"What happened?" Ian asked I felt anger fuel me as both Damien and I demorphed from the armor, he moved to check the computer to track Kat's crystal readings.
"Zander took Kat because she knows the answer to the Prophecy." I answered with fire in my words while Joven, Mari and Stephanie were scanning the gaping hole at the end of the base.
"That isn't why he took her." Damien shouted we all turned to look at him, his face was widened and his mouth was slightly ajar. Moving slowly up to him as he sat behind the monitor we locked eyes now. "He took her because she is the final part of the Prophecy...The final ingredient is blood of the Virgin Goddess of Athena."
