summary. Katerina was a girl trapped. Trapped inside her own head, body frozen in time, frozen in the 90s. It was a defence mechanism her mind had built up, creating an entire reality away from all the dangers she had ever faced.
When her fake reality begins to interfere with the correct, the supernaturals of New Orleans can't help but get involved and stop it before they are exposed. All makes sense when they find the sociopath behind it all, Katerina herself. The girl who lost her love and let her mind lead over her heart. A stupid decision that would cause her downfall. But can she fix it before its too late, all she needs is to learn to love again.

- personally not a huge fan of this one
- kat is heartbroken and traumatised by her past
- in my mind as she starts to fall for klaus her past comes back
- slowburn please, Kat has trust issues and is still healing from her last relationship
- Kat faces alot of racism due to her skin, this makes things harder for her
