Force a smile as I walk them by
Pretend to be someone else
Not knowing where I should belong
But I share my darkness with you
And hope you never leave
It is always lonely in the depths
With just my thoughts
Hoping you can take me away
Into another world
Happy together
With no need to pretend
Or if you can at least
Hold my hand
As the terrors tear into my heart
