I should have known better
Than to make a home
And find solace in the heart
Of pure evil in the flesh
I should not have let myself
Be distracted by disguises
For maybe then I could have saved
My soul from wilting
He viewed my vulnerability
As something sacred to claim
My vulnerability is sacred
But it is mine alone
Now I'm trapped in the ground
With nowhere to go
And no one to blame
But myself
