[time skip 1 month later]

Reader pov:

It's been a month already since Oliver's been shipped out, we got a new baby girl, Avery, Oliver's replacement. I only have 1 more month to live and I'm not even half way done with my plan. The only thing I have going for me is the house layout and a plan a

House layout

Plan a:
• Somehow climb the wall maybe grapple hook somehow
• make it across, run into the trees to hide out for a while
• look for some "William Minerva"
• make it to the human world

Not really full proof or done but it's better than nothing I guess. I have to find a way to make it across and climb up the wall. That's gonna be hard I can't let anyone know about the house secret they'll either think I'm lying or tell mom and there goes everything

What do I do

I needed to distract myself even though I needed to come up with a plan immediately I need to get a clear mind before going back like a fresh start.
I go outside with my siblings, I see them all playing tag or with a ball. I looked at 2 of my siblings specifically, Luna and mana.

Call me selfish but I wanted to take those two with me, just them, well and my friend of course. Iv only been close too those younger ones.

In the corner of my eye I see mom, looking at everyone so lovingly, so kind, so fake. Then I see a group of younger ones doing some hammock thing with some rope they found in the shed. That's it rope I can use rope to climb the wall and to glide across the cliff.

[ later that night]

That should cover everything. Here's my new plan
• go to the wall when mom isn't looking or at night
• use the rope to climb up the wall or maybe to swing up to the wall
• glide across the cliff
• make it to the other side

Then the rest I'll just make up on the way, all that matters is that I get out of here.

[November 26 ——]

Today is the day. Today is the day I get out of this hell.

I want to bring Luna and mana but with my taking care of them, 5 year olds, they just won't understand. I cant bring my friends either cause 1. The wont believe me even if I try to prove it they just love mom to much and 2. We would need too many resources to live with 9 people that would slow us down and we would get caught and killed.

I promise I'll come back to save them. I promise....

[ later that night]

It's time. Finally to escape. I already put the top on a tree nearby to swing up. I look at the house one last time before tying the rope around my waist. I take a Deep breathe before practically flying up. ( kinda like what Norman did idk what I'm doing okay this chapter is being rushed😭)

I keep getting closer to the top, if I can get close enough I can climb using the rope as a zip line.
I take a Deep breathe in * this is the one* I think to myself.

" I did it...." I mumble to myself. I look up in a shock yet happy expression.. I saw ima book once these 2 characters used a zip line or a rope to cross a cliff they crawled under the zips line and made it. That's my plan
