???:Dante, the conversion has finished now it's time to see if it's been successful.
Conversion who is this person talking about? Wait what is this, why can i see? Why can i hear? Why can i think?
My eyes open successfully with two figures looking down at me.
Dante Alighieri:Hey can you hear us?
The sound of a finger snapping and a pencil writing down notes. I have senses!
My vision became clearer staring at both a male and a female. They looked directly at me.
???:Europa can you hear us?
Europa? My name is not Europa it's Manilla!
Europa:Y-yeah i can hear you? Who are you two and where am i?
The man gave me a look with a smile on his face. As if he was proud of something.
Dante Alighieri:It worked she's alive! I can't believe it but the conversion was a success!
Europa:Conversion? What do you mean by Conversion?
Dante Alighieri:Ah,you see you were a merchant ship. But however my nation purchased you and we converted you to something different. Tell her Andrea!
Andrea Doria:You are what we refer to as a seaplane tender.
Europa:Seaplane Tender?
Andrea Doria:It means you have the ability to summon Seaplanes at your side.
Europa:I still don't understand anything.
Dante Alighieri:You must be confused but don't worry I'll explain everything.
I listened to how Dante explained to me who i was. Just a simple plain Merchant ship, he explained to me about an item known as the wisdom cube.
An item that gave sentience to whatever inhabited it. He used it's power to give me life during my conversion process.
I went from being a simple Merchant ship to a Seaplane Tender and well I'm grateful for what he has done.
He even chose to gave me the new name of Europa.
Dante Alighieri:Now do you understand, who you are now Europa?
Tears began to form in my eyes. I'm no longer a merchant ship that has no thought.
I can see, hear, feel, touch, smell and talk. Is this what life truly feels like?
Andrea Doria:Are you okay Europa?
I got out of my seat and immediately walked up to Dante Alighieri and kneeled down.
Europa:Thank you Thank you! I am forever in your servitude Dante Alighieri!
Dante Alighieri:That's good to hear, because right now we have a war to win!
Europa:A war?
I never heard of the concept of war, well i don't even know what the experience of a battle is.
Dante Alighieri:Yes, we have a war to win a Great War to be exact.
Europa:Who are we fighting against?
Dante Alighieri:Our rival acorss the Mediterranean the Austro-Hungarian Empire. If we win this war it will be a glorious victory for the Kingdom of Italy!
