"Y/n... it's not coming out..." Wally was viciously scrubbing his hair under the shower head and his hair still remained pitch black. Wally heard a burst of laughter from the other room. "Y/n!? What is it?!" Y/n opened the bathroom door and snickered, before handing Wally the bottle of hair dye.

"You bought permanent dye." Wally's eyes widened. "There's no way- why the h*ll did Howdy put the permanent next to the temporary hair dye?!?" Y/n fell to the ground in a fit of laughter as Wally's eye twitched and they clenched the bottle tightly. A knock sounded from the kitchen door and Y/n hobbled over to see Poppy.

"Oh, hello Y/n. How's your leg doing?" Y/n shrugged. "It's about the same, but it's getting better slowly. I'm not sure if right now is a great time to chat though-" Poppy was about to say something, when a crash was sounded from the bathroom and a few curses were sounded. "I'll come back later." Poppy said before scurrying out. Y/n sighed and made their way to the bathroom door.

They opened it and were baffled by the sight in front of them. Wally was on the ground with the shower curtain wrapped around him like a burrito and the water facet was dripping on them. "I slipped."

Y/n convinced Wally to go to the store and buy some blue hair dye to try and get his natural color back. Wally argued with them at first about it, because he knew Howdy would make fun of him. "Oh come on, would you rather have black hair the rest of the month?" Wally sighed and marched out of Home. "I'll be back."

Before leaving, Wally slipped a hoodie on, as to cover their black hair. The door dinged as Wally stepped foot inside and met eye contact with none other than Howdy. "Hello neighbor! Whatcha up to?" Howdy asked as he raised an eyebrow at the fact Wally was wearing a hoodie.

"Just need some things." Wally was about to walk past the counter that Howdy was at, when Howdy innocently swiped the hood off their head, revealing the black hair. "OH MY GOD-" Wally's face flushed as he urgently put the hood back up. "You saw nothing." Howdy's smirk disappeared and he gulped before going over to a shelf and beginning to restock it.

Wally ran over to an isle and went over to the blue hair dye section. They were about to leave with the dye, when they heard a voice behind him. "HIYA, WALLY!" Wally jumped and dropped the blue hair dye in the process, before turning around swiftly. "Oh, hi Julie." She smiled brightly at Wally, before bending over and picking up the hair dye for him.

"You dropped... this?" Wally swiped it from her hand before chuckling nervously. "Right well, nice seeing you!" Wally raced out of Howdy's without another glance back.

"There, back to normal. I hope this taught you to not watch people while they sleep." Wally sighed and looked at their blue hair. "I'm sorry again for that... I don't really know what came over me." Y/n shrugged in reply. "Just don't do that again- alright?" Wally nodded in reply, as Y/n hobbled back to the couch and relaxed.

"Do you want me to try and help you back to your home?" Y/n glanced at Wally and nodded with a grateful smile. "That'd be nice, thanks."
