When my brother was born my parents gave him a teddy bear named Woody.
When I was born, my parents gave me a teddy bear named Groovy.
My brother Charlie also has one, and it's called Halo.
We said that there were 3 bear brothers, and each bear represented us.
Before Steve... before he... died... as he had entered the University he said to me:
—Now you'll take care of Woody.
That's why, in my bed, I have 2 teddy bears: Woody and Groovy.
Every time I see Woody I remember my brother and the good times we had. We always took our teddy bears on trips. Now, I still do, and Woody, Groovy and Halo always go, like three inseparable bears.
It still hurts... and every rainy day reminds me of Steve. If I'm honest, the first few months I was afraid to get into a car, because it made me think about what happened to my brother...
it's been very difficult for me, but I know I have to move on, because that's what he wanted me to do.
Woody is already an old bear... he is 19 years old...which is Steve's age. Last December 10th, which is his birthday, I bought a cupcake, put a candle on it and celebrated Woody's birthday... in memory of my brother... I couldn't help but cry that day, but I feel that God is restoring my heart every day.
My life is not the same, and Steve is certainly gone, but I know that God never change.
