"New friends!" Omori Reader Insert

Rainy Day!

It was sunday, you were planning on sleeping all day long, or at least for a good 5 hours more, but you woke up due to a loud noise coming from outside

You looked all around the room and noticed it was silent now
Suddenly, you heard the same loud noise before and looked through the window

There was a storm outside!

"Woohooo!" You said to yourself and convered your mouth afterwards realizing you might have woken your mum up

You looked at the clock and sighed in relief, it was 12 a.m, so your mother was definetly already up

After putting your clothes on you walked down the stairs and took  the box of cereal, as usual, preparing your breakfast

You finally finished eating so you leaved the bowl on the sink and walked to the front door

You looked around before leaving the house, to see if your mom was around, but she wasn't so you guessed she went to buy something, so you put your F/C raincoat on, opened the door and stepped out

As soon as you did, you noticed how windy it was, but that didn't stop you from having a walk

You walked bit more, closed the door and started heading to the park

A few seconds later you saw Basil walking to your house with a huge green raincoat and a green umbrella

"Hey Basil!" You greeted him, making him notice you were there

"Oh uh... Hey!" He said nervous, since he hadn't noticed you were there before
"What's up?" You asked

"Not much, Sunny and I just finished playing a game, and we're going to go see Kel and Aubrey, do you want to come too?" He asked, and you then saw Sunny waving at you, so you waved back

"Sure, why not" You said and the three of you started walking to where Kel and Aubrey were

They were talking, but Aubrey noticed the three of you walking to them

"Hey Sunny! Hey Basil! Hey y/n! What took you guys so long?" He asked looking rather happy

"Sorry, Sunny and I were playing a game about fighting with pet rocks and then we went to look for y/n-" He started saying but Aubrey cut him off

"Basil, basil! Take a picture of my new raincoat!" She said excited
"You got a new raincoat too?" You asked

"Yeah! Wait, if that means your raincoat is new as well, then Basil sould take a picture of both of us!" Aubrey suggested

"Sure!" You said and walked close to her "We're ready Basil!"

"Oh, okay! One sec..." He said and started taking the picture

When he was about to take the picture you noticed Kel walking in the camera angle to ruin it, so you pushed him away, but that was the exact moment the picture was taken

"Do you like my new raincoat Sunny? It's my favourite color, pink!" Aubrey said excitingly
"Ewww pink is a gross color" Kel said trying to annoy her

"No it's not Kel! You're a gross color!" Aubrey shoted

"That doesn't even make any sense" He answered

"Oh, Sunny, that reminds me!" Aubrey said "Mari and I were talking about dying our hair together, she says she's gonna dye it purple"

"P-P-Purple?!" Kel stuttered

"You wanna know what color I chose?" Aubrey said looking at Kel

"Wait... Are you saying you wanna dye your hair... pink?!" He asked and Aubrey nodded "Eww... that's weird. Why would you ever do that?"

"I don't know, I just thought it would be cute!" Aubrey answered "Mari thinks so too!"

"Hmph... I'll never understand you two and you're crazy ideas" Kel said
"I think pink would look you on you, Aubrey" Basil commented "What do you think Sunny?" 

Sunny just nodded, so you guessed he liked pink

"Yeah, It'd look good on you Aubrey" You told her

"See? Even Basil, Sunny and Y/n agree... You're the one who's weird Kel!" Aubrey shouted at him

"Psh... Whatever..." He said and changed the topic "Hey Sunny, you said you and Basil were playing that pet rocks game? Hmmm... maybe I should get into it too"

"Hey, I know! Why don't we go to that shop Hobbeez to check if they have it?" You suggested

"Sure, just give me a moment, I gotta tie my shoe" Kel said and got on his knees to tie it

Sunny used that moment to go and talk to Basil, and after a few moments he looked very flustured, and Basil was laughing a bit

"Okay, I'm done! Let's go guys!" Kel said and ran to Hobbeez
"Hey, wait for me!" You shouted and ran after him, almost dropping your umbrella

You heard Aubrey run following Kel and you

A couple of minutes later you arrived at Hobbeez with Kel and Aubrey

You decided to wait for Sunny and Basil, that showed up a few seconds later

After walking inside the store you saw that they had lots of different kind of stuff, so you started looking for that pet rocks game Sunny and Basil were playing

"I found it guys!" You said pointing at the rocks, and grabbed a F/C one

"Nice!" You heard Kel say and he ran towards you, taking the box from your hands and looking at it

"Hey! Give it back!" You shouted
"Nope! Take another one, I like F/C, so im keeping it" Kel said

"Sure..." You said and started looking for another F/C one, but you couldn't find any "There aren't any F/C rocks left!"

 "Bad for you" Kel said and you gave him the "Seriously?" look "Fiiiiine, here you go"

Kel gave you the box back

"Thanks!" You said

Everyone took a box, except for Sunny and Basil who already had a rock and you all paid for them

You got your rock out of its box and put it in your pocket so it wouldn't get wet by the rain

Kel, Aubrey, Sunny, Basil and you decided to go to Sunny's house to play, and Mari was there with Hero, showing him a song she learned in Piano

You got them to watch the game, since they didn't have rocks and all of you had a great time

Short af chapter after over 1 month without updating, sorry, I just lost motivation, sorry
