Wally would always be very worried about you
He doesn't have any sort of grasp on the concept of mental illness, so when he learned about it he was rather horrified
"What? People really do these things to themselves because they're sad? That's so... Sad :("
Wally's stress levels fully depend on how sad you are, for example, su1cide
He'll directly ask you about it. If the answer's no, he'll be less stressed, but he still doesn't like that you're sad
If the answer's yes, he'll be stressed about you simply being at home by yourself. What if you hurt yourself?
If you insist on being home by yourself, he'll steal and hide any available weap0ns in your house when he's over
He'd much rather you stay with him and Home, even then all kitchenware, even spoons, are being hidden away
He can't understand why you're sad, so he can be a little forceful when asking about it
He just wants to help you :(
He's more mindful about how many compliments he gives you. He gives you a bunch anyway, but he's started getting self-aware for your sake
If you try to lock yourself away in your home or in his, he'll try his best to get you to at least go outside
You don't even have to interact with the other neighbors if you don't want to! It can just be the two of you!
If you're locked up inside YOUR home, he'll check on you about every hour to make sure you're okay
He'll REALLY stress out if you don't pick up the phone
If you don't answer the door after a missed phone call, he might lose some sleep
If you don't answer the phone by morning he's breaking into your house
If Wally manages to get you to play with the other neighbors, he'll tell them all about what's going on with you without thinking to ask you if it was okay
If you get angry at him for it he'll be really sorry and not mention it to other neighbors again
Don't blame him though, he just wanted the other neighbor to understand why you acted or looked the way you did, he really didn't mean to hurt your feelings :(
If you cry, he cries
Like I've said, he hates seeing you sad. If you get upset enough to cry he'll snuggle you and cry as well
If you hate being touched when crying, he won't understand, but he'll comply to what you want
If you SH and he finds out, he'll start crying at that as well
"*sniff*(Y-Y/N) *lil sob :(* why-? w-when-? *sob*"
It's a little strange to see oblivious and chill little Wally so sad, but he loves you, and doesn't want you hurt
Wally wouldn't know what he'd do if you were to try to do something to yourself
He'd probably cry his little eyes out and not let go of you when he got to see you again
If you'd have to be put in a hospital for something, poor Wally would hug his paintings of you he painted and cry
He'd try to get his mind off you, but he couldn't. To him it felt so wrong to just try and forget about something that makes him sad (don't mind my autistic projection here 😔)
If you tried doing something to yourself and everyone found out, you're not only getting clinged to for the next three weeks, you're also not allowed out of his sight. All dangerous objects are out of both of your reach, he's dragging you outside and making you do anything else but sit around
