You've been studying at the Akademia for as long as you could remember. In your studies you would often study the mysterious world that is Teyvat with non-other than your significant other, Layla. You and Layla couldn't not work with each other. Without her by your side no one could calm your anger issues. Without you by Layla's side she'd fall asleep during work and wouldn't get the proper amount of sleep.

You two often did the work of the other if they were sick or overwhelmed with the work load. Of course, you were the only confident one to ask for days off work. However Layla just continued to stress alone.

You two often meet during work hours and part ways after work if there is no extra things to be done. Despite you both having your own houses, you often sleep at each other's houses for no apparent reason. You two never really knew why, it just felt right.

One day, however, it was raining outside of the Akademia and you had forgotten to bring your umbrella. "Oh great. Just great..!" You yelled at yourself. Everyone was pretty much gone. "I guess I'll just sleep in my office. It'll get me a chance to finish some extra work." As you made your way to your office, you were in time to see Layla leave hers, tired of course.

"Oh dear..." She said as soon as she saw your beautiful smile. "Overworking yourself again, I see?" You grinned at Layla and approached her with a hug. "Shush you!" You teasingly said. "I forgot my umbrella so I'm spending the night here." Layla hugged you back and smiled as well. "Don't worry, dear. I brought my umbrella." Layla said as she broke the hug. "I hadn't even noticed that it started raining."

You both walked into Layla's office. It was filled with trinkets and various other things with star shaped ornaments. Ones that you particularly bought for her whenever you felt like treating her.

"Ah, there it is!" Layla said as she grabbed it from behind the door. She came up to you with a slightly energetic smile. "Are you ready?" She asked you. Layla took your hand into hers. "Depends, did you leave anything?" You asked. Layla stood in thought before letting go of you and going to her desk. "My bag, of course!" She said to herself as she took her bag under her arm. She swiftly came back and held your hand. "Now we're ready." Layla smiled at you again. "Yes we are." You said.

You both made your way out of the Akademia, hand in hand. The rain was a slight drizzle, but even so Layla still held the umbrella. As you both continued to walk, the smell of the misty rain made you tranquil and the small puddles of water you stepped it added a soothing feel to your footsteps.

"Calming?" Layla asked you, trying to be teasey but ended up sounding a lustful tired. "Very." You simply replied as you both walked on. "I also wanted to ask, do you have any extra work?" Layla stayed silent before finally processing your words. "Of course I do... But not a lot." She replied. "I could probably-

"Finish it in one night."
"Finish it in one night."

You both blurted out at the same time. "We can't keep lying to ourselves..." You said solemnly. "We'll go to your house today then." Layla nodded as you both walked down the steep path away from the Akademia.
