chapter 1:the end?

"Gura,protect Ame.Kiara and I will deal with Ina." Calli summoned her scythe and chanted a spell."Are you ready,Kustori?"

"I was born ready"

Suddenly,Calli transformed into a giant Grim Reaper,while Kiara turn into a majestic pheonix,prepared to attack Ina.Ina cast a spell,launching a beam at Calli,but Calli swung her scythe and sliced the beam into two.Calli's scythe nearly struck Ina,but the pressure from the beam was so strong that Calli stuggled to break through.From behind,Kiara shot a fireball from her mouth at Ina,burning everything around her.

Just when they thought it was over,something flew out of the flames towards Kiara.Both Calli and Kiara were shocked when they realized it was Ina.Ina punched Kiara hard,sending her crashing into a nearby building.Calli tried to strike Ina with her scythe again,but Ina dodged.Enraged,Kiara charged at Ina,launching fire beams while flying around her.At the same time,Calli attacked Ina with all her strength.

"Ugh,I'll deal with the immortals of this world later," Ina muttered before releasing a shockwave that teleported Calli and Kiara to nowhere.

"they both tried their best to defeat me,yet they failed.You must be the real problem here,right,human?" Ina landed on the ground,staring at Ame.Gura stepped in front of Ame.

"Please stop,Ina." Gura pleaded,summoning her trident and preparing to attack.

"Your little friend is not here." Ina cast a spell,launching another beam at Gura.Gura struck the ground with her trident,summoning a shark made of water to protect her and Ame.Ina's attack reflected off the shark,damaging everything around them.Ina stopped her assault,assuming she has finished them off.

As dust filled the air from Ina's attack,the shark Gura summoned swam through the ground toward Ina,trapping her inside it's watery body.

"i don't think we've defeated her yet" Gura readied herself,doubting whether the battle was truly over.As expected,Ina's hand emerged from the shark,casting a spell aimed at Gura.Before Ina could launch her attack,Gura threw her trident at Ina,striking her and sending her crashing into a building,which collapsed from the impact.

"G-Gura,what have you done?" Ame stuttered,shaken by Gura's strength.

"You know,Ame?Ina once told me that if i tried harder,i could beat her when we play Mario Kart together.I didn't think I'd defeat her like this." Gura stared at the building she had destroyed."Is this how we're seperated,Ina?" Tears rolled down her cheeks.Gura recalled her trident,but as it returned,Ina caught it and hurled it back with even greater force. Gura deflected the trident with her left hand,but before she could react,Ina moved at the speed of light, gripping Gura's neck and lifting her into the air.

"GURA!!!" Ame grabbed her gun and shot at Ina,but Ina didn't even flinch.

"Ame,it'd pointless.She's too strong for you to fight alone" Gura said weakly.Suddenly,Ina stabbed her tentacle into Gura's belly.

"Ugh...Blob...take Ame far away from here," Gura gasped.The shark Gura had summoned earlier grabbed Ame in its mouth and carried her to the edge of the city.

"I'm curious.Why do you fight so hard to protect her?All she does is cause destruction and mess with the timeline," Ina said.

Gura smirked."Heh,that's what friends for,Ina.We help each other.Me,Ame,Calli,Kiara,all of us fought hard not to protect Ame,but to save you.All of us want to save-" Before Gura could finish,Ina crushed her skull with her tentacles.

"I don't need unnecessary information.Just answer my question" Ina tossed Gura's lifeless body aside."Don't worry,Gura.Your best friend will join you soon." Ina began moving to find Ame.

Ame lay on the ground,hopeless."am i really that useless?If she hadn't taken the watch in the first place,maybe we'd be happy together.Maybe this disaster wouldn't have happened.Maybe Ina wouldn't have made that deal..." Tears streamed down her face.

"Wipe your tears,Ame." Ame looked up and saw Gura standing before her,smiling.

"G-Gura?Wait,does this mean you're..." Ame couldn't finish her sentence.

"Yes,I'm dead,Ame.She killed me.I don't even know what i am right now...a ghost?A spirit?Haha,at least i can still see you,right?" Gura said,trying to comfort Ame.

Ame fell to her knees,sobbing.

"Hey,don't cry,silly!You're making me feel bad for leaving you," Gura said,trying to stop Ame's tears."Gura,if only I were stronger,I could've helped you defeat her," Ame cried,breaking down completely.

"you're not weak,Ame.You're the only one who can stop her.Remember the watch you steal from Kronii?You didn't take it for nothing,right? Gura pointed at the pocket watch around Ame's neck.

"Heh,I didn't steal it,dummy. I borrowed it" Ame said,smiling through her tears.

"Found you." Ina's tentecles lifted Ame into the air,squeezing her body tightly.

"I-I still have time," Ame whispered,clutching the button on her pocket watch.

Ina noticed."You can mess with time all you want,detective.But in the end,I'll still kill you." Ina tightened her grip.

"I'll keep fighting,Ina.Not out of hatred,but because i still have hope.I believe i can save you.so until that time comes...wait for me,okay?" Ame pressed the button on her pocket watch and teleported away.
