A/N:  so this chapter is basically just a season recap.   I didn't want to spend time writing about a season that was heavily restricted by covid.  Again, results not exactly the same as irl, but very similar.

It was a season that everyone wanted to forget.   Covid still dominated the headlines and controlled every move they made.  The teams had to wear masks all the time, be tested  regularly and were not allowed to mix with members from other teams.

This was both a curse and a blessing for Lily.    It was a blessing because it meant she didn't have to put up with Damon's bullshit, but a curse as it meant she couldn't spend time with Poppy.

The season got off to a great start for Lily with a pair of seventh places in the two Austrian races.

It didn't get off to such a great start for Seb however. After a very disappointing tenth place in the first race he failed to finish the second after another collision with his teammate.

Mattia had been raging at the pair of them and Seb had begun to wish it was the end of the season already.

Next up was Hungary, which saw a change in Seb's and Lily's fortunes. Seb had driven an excellent race and had finished in sixth place, which he'd normally be disappointed with, but after the start to the season he'd had it was good to finally score some decent points.

Lily had been punted off by Esteban Ocon on the first lap and got beached in the gravel, her race over.
