Wednesday Pov:
I can't sleep. Every time I try I see Enid being tortured. I can't take it anymore. It's been three days since the first time I had it, it started small, but it got worse. I can't stand seeing her in pain.
I look over to see her sleeping peacefully, I'm tired. But I'm scared to sleep. I hesitate before walking up to her, Enid knows I haven't been sleeping. "Enid" I whisper and she turns in her sleep. I turn going to walk over to my room when I hear her stir. "Baby don't go" she whispers and I turn, I see her looking up at me tiredly. "I can't sleep" I whisper to her and she sits up, rubbing her tired eyes.
I hate to admit it but she looks cute, "it's 1am" she whispers shocked. "sorry" I say feeling slightly bad about waking her. "come here" she says moving over, I look at her before laying next to her, she lays on her back holding my hand as she drifts off to sleep. I fight with every bone in my body to not put my head on her chest. I try but fail.
She places her hand over my side and I smile slightly, "goodnight baby" she mumbles and I feel myself drifting off to sleep.
"Stop. Leave her please" I beg to the person torturing Enid. They ignore me and start hurting her. She screams in pain and my heart breaks as she does. "No" I scream, watching her being hurt.
I wake up to Wednesday screaming no. I look at her, realising she's asleep. I sake her slightly hoping she'll wake up but she doesn't. "Wednesday" I say shaking her more violently. "Wednesday" I shout worrying as she shouts 'no' and 'don't hurt her please' over and over, my heart breaks watching her.
She gasps, waking up. Her hands are shaking, I can hear her heart pounding in her chest. I've never seen her look so hurt before, "Baby you're ok" I say looking at her. She hugs me tightly and I instantly hug her back, hoping she's ok, "It's ok, it was just a dream" I say and she sits back. "It's just a dream" she whispers, I think she's trying to reassure herself. "I'm going to get you some water" I say about to get up. She grabs my hand and pulls me back. "Don't leave me" she asks with pleading eyes.
We never slept after that, "I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be back in a minute baby" I say kissing her forehead, she nods her head and I walk away, I lock the bathroom door and pull out my phone, texting Wednesdays mom.
Me: Something is wrong with Wednesday.
Mrs. Addams: What is wrong with her darling?
Me: I'm not sure but I'm worried, I've never seen her like this before. She's scared
Mrs. Addams: I'm on my way, don't tell Wednesday.
I walk back over to my bed, seeing Wednesday fighting off sleep. "Baby you look exhausted" I say placing my hand on her shoulder, "I'm fine" she says softly, "Wens I know you, you're exhausted" I say sitting next to her. She shakes her head, "Enid I'm fine" she insists leaning against me. "If you insist" I say watching her slowly fall asleep.
I look at the clock to see how much she's been sleeping for, 3 hours. She starts shifting in her sleep, "you're ok" I whisper, rubbing her arm, she calms for a while. Sleeping peacefully. She stays like this for a few more hours, Morticia arrives, she doesn't say anything. She sits on Wednesday's bed, watching her carefully.
"No" I hear Wednesday whisper, she's scared. I look over to Morticia who sitting on the edge of Wednesday's bed. "please, I'll do anything" she cried, I look at her, seeing a tear fall from her eye as she shakes in her sleep. "Wens, you're ok, I'm here" I say rubbing her arm hoping it'll ease her.
"She's having a vision" Morticia says walking close to her, "Enid, I would move" she says and I nod. I move carefully, standing next to Mrs. Addams. "Why did you ask me to move" I say looking at her curiously, "These visions are said to be dangerous, I've never seen one before. They only happen in Ravens" she says pausing. "Wednesday" she says shaking her roughly, not enough to hurt her but enough to wake her.
"Enid" Wens asks looking for me, I step forward, "I'm here, I'm here" I say holding her hand. "Wednesday, what did you see" Morticia asks and Wednesday looks at me. "Nothing" Morticia looks at me, motioning to the door, "could you" she asks and I nod, kissing Wednesday's head before leaving.
Wednesday Pov:
"Mother, it was horrible" I say standing up. "What happened Darling" she asks as we sit on my bed. "I'm trapped, chained to a chair, facing Enid and someone I don't know. They hurt her mother, and I'm forced to watch" I look down, my hands are shaking, "They keep getting worse. I keep telling myself it's just a dream but they won't go away" I admit looking up at her.
"Wednesday, you hold a power that I myself don't understand. From what I've heard, Ravens like you get these visions. They almost never come true" She pauses looking at me before continuing, "They conjure your greatest fear and show you them. I've never witnessed one, I've been told they get worse over time. I read that a girl shook her whole building, while having a vision". I look at her in shock and fear.
"Wednesday, that's not the worse part" mother says looking at me, "tell me" I ask and she nods. "We are a very powerful family, one of the strongest in the world. The girl I was talking about had almost no power." she pauses standing up. "I fear that with you being the only Raven in over four centuries that you could do so much worse" she explains and I nod.
"Mother, if you fear what I will do then I cannot stay here, I lo" I stop looking at Enid's side of our room before continuing. "I care about her to much" I admit, mother smiles looking down at me, "You love her" she says and I nod, feeling heat rise to my face, "I love her" I whisper, smiling to myself.
