Part 4

"Morning sweetie papa Austin made breakfast this morning and he did heart shape waffles and pancakes as well this morning and he made a Valentine's day buffet for us" Kevin tells her since he was feeding the baby and making sure she was eating that morning cause she was probably going to sleep the whole time and wake up right when he comes home from the preschool party and she would need to eat again and maybe be up for a little bit after since Katie has her second party that afternoon at her other preschool that she attends two days as week cause Kevin wanted to keep her on track for kindergarten when she goes in two-three years cause his heart will hurt cause his little girl won't be home during the afternoon and he won't have to pick her up after her morning preschool class either, and he will pick her up after school is done in the afternoon and he will have the evenings to be with her until she gets into the fun activities much later like dance, gymnastics, cheerleading and maybe more

Katie was excited for breakfast that morning cause she loves it when papa Austin makes breakfast cause she asks for thirds and Austin doesn't say a word either he let's her eat cause he knows she won't be hungry till lunch that day Kevin was room dad, and he was bringing the treats, so she was only going to ask for seconds that morning for breakfast and Austin was just fine with that for the moment cause she has two parties that day

(A month and a half later)

Katie was going to have her party before break and Austin and Kevin was going to let her know her surprise and where they were going to be taking her on spring break

"Katie by the theme of breakfast this morning where are we going on spring break?" Austin asks her as Kevin was tending to the baby that morning cause she was not feeling the best at all so Kevin was going to send Austin in his place for the party cause he talked to Katie the night before and she was completely and totally fine with it

Kate was looking at the breakfast carefully and she was putting the pieces together to see where the family was going to be going for spring break and Kevin and Austin was working on this for the longest time as well and they were keeping it a secret from her as well cause they wanted it to be a complete and total surprise to her cause she had deserved this vacation from everything in general

"Are we going on a cruise?" she asks him cause she saw some ship theme items on her plate as well

"Try to guess the theme of the cruise" Kevin tells her as he went to get the baby cause he heard her wake up from her slumber cause she was up off and on through the night cause she had a bit of colic for some reason or another

Katie looked more carefully at the late that was in front of her and she was able to  put everything together and she was able to finally able to figure out what cruise line they were  going on and she was really excited about the cruise

"Are we going on a Disney cruise?" she asks her father cause she was really excited about the cruise that they were going to be going on

"Yes after your class party we will be leaving for the cruise" Kevin tells her cause he was keeping the cruise line a surprise until they got to the port where they will be boarding the ship at cause he did not want to spill it that they were going to be gong on a DIsney cruise and he got her a appointment at the boutique on board the ship as well cause that was going to be really special for her as well cause she never got that kind of makeover in her life either so this was going to be one for the books as well

Katie was really excited to be going on a cruise for spring break that year and she was able to remember what all they did and she was hoping that their room was accessible for her cause she was going to be in her wheelchair the whole time cause she was going to be on the water and her trying to walk while on a ship was going to be fun as well and a probably a bad idea as well cause there were going to be a lot of people on board the ship and of course Kevin, Austin and her were going to have to test it out and see what happens and if it isn't too crowded in some parts of the ship they were going to let her walk on her own with her walker that way her legs don't lock up on her cause they have been having her walk around the house to help strengthen her legs a little bit and so far she has made great progress and is walking great with her back brace on to help her spine a little bit cause she will be fitted for a better back brace for when she is bigger and it will grow with her until she hits a certain age then she will have a permanent back brace that will be inserted with surgery and it will help her walk a little bit better then what she does now

"First you have to get through the school day then daddy will help papa clean up your party, and once we come home we will load the luggage up and we will be off to the airport to board our flight for Florida" Kevin tells her cause he had to calm her back down cause he could see that she was excited and ready to go on the cruise that very second

Katie knew school came before anything and that point she was ready for summer and ready to have some fun with her daddy and her papa and her baby sister as well and she was hoping that her sister was still going to be in the family by the time she starts back to school in the fall cause she was going to do her second year of preschool before she goes to kindergarten the following year of course and her dad was going to be a mess when she goes cause he can't handle her being so grown up already. She finishes breakfast and she gets her backpack and she heads out to the van so she could go to school that morning

"Bye Katie have a good day" Austin says as she was leaving the house to go to school that morning cause it was free day before spring break of course and Kevin was just going to stay there cause he had to set up for her class party after all so he was just going to stay there cause it was dumb to come back home then go again

Katie gave him a kiss goodbye before leaving the house for real this time

Kevin was at the end of the drop off line and he knew he was just going to stay there that way he can make trips out to the van for everything cause he brought the balloons last night and got it decorated a little bit as well cause the room parents were allowed in the room the night before to decorate the room with the theme of the party and Kevin went with the majority of the preschool class
