After Kagome and Sesshomaru met again life hadn't been exactly the same but it was perfect for them. Sesshomaru told Kagome, a year after they met once more, "Rin died of old age," with a pained expression on his face, "But I've looked over her bloodline due to her last wish. Do you want to meet them?" Kagome being astonished said"Yes!"
Now at this time Kagome had finally graduated, and was waiting for Sesshomaru's next move, which was of course marriage, but she didn't want to rush him or his wishes. She was just waiting for him to propose to her.
The couple arrived to a small town out in the country on the outskirts of Tokyo. They continued to walk from they just took until they stopped at a house, and it was quite a large home compared to the other homes. 'It looks like a city home',thought Kagome.
Sesshomaru went past the gate and knocked on the door, only to be greeted by a hardy hug from a man about in his mid-thirties. "Sesshomaru! It's been too long come in Sakura and the children are out for now, but you're always welcome!"
Kagome examined his face and felt a lump at the back of her throat. She saw so much of Rin in him, his manner towards Sesshomaru even to his smile.
Shou was his name and he knew perfectly what Sesshomaru's purpose was and whom I was. "So Sesshomaru?" Asked Should, "When are you going to tie the knot and please tell me I'm invited to the wedding!" Sesshomaru chuckled and said,"In due time Shou, In due time."
We left after possibly 30 or so minutes and Sesshomaru took me to a house that was grand in comparison to the country houses that we had walked by. He also did the same thing with Shou's house only this time it was a little fox demon who looked just like Shippo. "Oh my Shippo you haven't changed at all have you??!!"
"No Kagome," said a deep voice,"This is my third child and youngest. But not my last might I conclude. " I looked up to see Shippo, my Shippo all grown I would guess 5 foot 10, with same color hair and eyes but his legs were straight and human and his hair wasn't too long about nape of the neck.
At that moment when Kagome realized she missed Shippo and Rin mature into adults and left Sesshomaru to raise them all on his own she began to cry. Sesshomaru took her into his chest with his arm wrapped around her and patted her back and rubbed it in circles to calm her.
Shippo then hugged his 'mother' from behind and laid his head on top of her head and said,"You haven't aged a day." Kagome was then smiling and said,"And you've aged like nutmeg and now I get to see you all grown up with children of your own," she said with a radiant smile,"May I meet them?"
"Of course Kagome seeing that your their grandmother and all." Kagome couldn't get used to being called a grandmother and blushed furiously. "This is Kirra my oldest, this is Daito my first son, and you met at the door my youngest and her name is Rin, also my wife is pregnant and I'm hoping for another son."
Kirra had black hair and blue eyes and held a tan completion and looked to be about 10 in human years but with Kagome's intuition she was possibly 40-50 years old . Daito held the look of his mothers he had sharp eyes, jet black hair and green eyes, but had Shippos complexition. And Rin was practically a photocopy of Shippo but said very little to Kagome.
Kagome also got to meet Shippo's beautiful wife who was pregnant and she was of a darker complextion and had sharp eyes which were blue and jet black hair. Her name was Miyu and she was just as old as Shippo. Once they were done visiting Kagome and Sesshomaru left to a cemetery where Sesshomaru had two wonderful graves next to each other for in loving memory of Miroku and Sango. "One of their many children married Rin, they loved each other so I allowed the marriage."
Kagome couldn't help but to smile to know that everyone she knew and cared for weren't just forgotten in the last 500 years. She grabbed Sesshomaru's hand and gently squeezed it, and Sesshomaru followed suit and squeezed back. They began walking back to a train station to catch the next train but Sesshomaru led them over to a cliff over looking the sea and the sun was setting behind the couple.
"Kagome, I've realized that years do count and matter and so that being said how about you move in with me." Kagome was at first radiant but then almost engulfed in anger. "So when are you going to propose to me?" She knew she was acting like a total brat but she really wanted to know, she wanted to be able to not only roll over to Sesshomaru every morning for the rest her life but be able to to roll over and know that he was 'her' Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru couldn't help but smile at her anger and said,"I proposed along time ago if you've forgotten." He slightly moved the hem of her pants down and blew on her hip bone, which made a purple crescent moon appear on her skin.
Kagome looked confused but then remembered their kiss and the sting she felt on her hip, and then Kagome added,"So then when were you planning on marrying me?" And Sesshomaru looked at Kagome and said,"I was waiting for you to make arrangements and plan, I've attended many weddings but never my own of course I personally have no idea what to do."
Kagome just stared in absolute shock and awe as she felt the true impact of his words hit her like a ton of books. She was the one dragging it in the relationship, and she couldn't help but to blush hard.
She was embarrassed but to say the least she was happy beyond compare. She looked into Sesshomaru's eyes and said,"I love you." And he half smiled and, "I know, I love you as well."
Okay so that's it mate's, thanks a bunch for reading and for staying patient with me. I personally do not own or wish to own Inyuasha (so many shipping pairs!!). But this was my very first full fan fiction and I'm pretty ok with the out come but you know you can only improve. Also if your not a hopeless romantic and stuck with this story thank you. That's all I wanted to say also kids eat your veggies and don't drink too many liquids before bed, no one ever really reads the author's note if it's this long and turduchicken I'm a vegetarian and peace.
