After a few days, Blizzard and Spruce went out in to the forest, they came upon a deer foal, who, by the looks of it, had lost his mother and couldn't find her.

The opportunity was here, and Blizzard and Spruce weren't gonna let this slide. Not with the foal being so vulnerable and helpless, it was almost too easy to get him.

But as long as the wolves benefitted from him, it was most important.

So after getting into their hunting positions, the two wolf brothers made their way around the foal, but he didn't see them because he was too busy drinking water from the stream.

Spruce then made the first move and gave chase after the foal.

Blizzard ran around the foal and attacked him, biting the back of his left leg and holding on tightly without letting go, even though the foal struggled and was trying to get away.

Meanwhile, Spruce was getting down to business with finishing the foal off by giving him a bite to his neck and twisting it the opposite way, breaking it.

As the brothers and their way back to the den, the foal's hoof slid onto a animal trap, which snapped down shut on it.

Blizzard bit down on the foal's ankle and broke it, which freed the foal from the trap, leaving his hoof behind stuck in the trap.

By now the brothers made it back to the den, greeting their parents and sister Birch. It was good that they didn't take her along for the hunt, because she might have made the wolf brothers loose the foal!
