Chapter 4: Rose's Savior

Hearing Alex's voice, Rose was slightly stunned. She stopped wiping her nose and raised her head. She shot a cold gaze toward Alex. She was unhappy of what she heard from the loser.

"You came too?" She said with an annoyed look. Alex nodded slightly but didn't say anything. Judging by Rose's expression, she didn't seem to want him there. Bones arrived and everyone was surprised to see Bones coming towards everyone.

“Who are you…?” Joe asked on Bones.

“Ah! He’s Bones! Bones Frazier! From the other class! Bones, meet my friends. Joe, Ben, and Carl. Over here is Stacy, Suzan, Betty, and… Rose.” Alex introduced everyone to Bones who just looked around and nodded. Rose also noticed that Bones also wears the same clothes like Alex and this made her disgust the two even more.

“Yo.” Bones greeted everyone with a single wave on his hand.

“If you don’t have anything good to do, you two, you can just leave.” Rose said with a frown.

“I just came here. Don’t even know what the hell happened. But this looked urgent. So I barged in.” Bones replied. Suzan quickly spoke up for Alex.

"Rose, Alex came to help you think of a way out of this. He's worried about you."  She said
"Hmph, worried…” Rose sneered.

"If it wasn't for you yesterday, we wouldn't have bumped into Luciel. And if we hadn't bumped into Luciel, the incident would never have happened," she exclaimed. Then she pointed at the door and shouted.

"Scram! Get out of my room right now."

“None of this would’ve happened too if you weren’t stupid enough to act rashly towards a stranger.” Bones said and this made Rose get angrier.

“You…!” Rose roared but Suzan stopped her.

“Ayo dude! You can’t just say that. Wait, how did you know about that?” Ben asked.

“Yeah. You weren’t there last time with us.” Carl added.

“Do I need to introduce myself towards you guys while observing what this woman did?” Bones asked with a straight look at the two.
"Rose, listen to yourself," Suzan said. She felt that Rose was being unfair.

"After all, Alex came to help you, and you speak to him like that. Same goes to Bones. He might be able to lend us a hand too." She added. Alex didn't say anything. He slowly turned around and walked toward the door.

“Just like that? I’m outta here as well.” Bones said and followed Alex. Joe hung up the phone and followed to comfort his friend.

"Alex, are you alright? Rose was out of order just now. But remember how stressed she is today. Don't lower yourself to her level. Forgive her."  Joe said.

"I know, it's fine." Alex smiled faintly.

"All right, go quickly and persuade her. Tell her not to worry. It'll be fine." Alex said and walked out as if nothing had happened. Bones followed him out as well. Joe watched Alex and Bones go and shook his head before returning quickly to the dorm.

“Do you have some plans, Alexander?” Bones asked.

“Yeah. I have a plan in mind right now. I hope this works out.” Alex replied.

“Well, you are the future heir of the Winstons after all. Show me what you got there.” Bones said and Alex gave him a faint smile.

“Yeah. Let’s hurry.” Alex said and the two walked faster.

"I don't ever want to see that lowlife again." Rose was still cursing Alex. When she saw Joe come in, she stopped and took out her cellphone.

"I just had an idea—I'm going to call my old school friend to see if he can help.
