At the lunch I sat across from Julie and Connie. Connie was in the middle of Guy and Julie. Someone moved the set that was next to me, putting their lunch down. I payed no attention to who it was until I noticed the jacket. There's only one guy on this team who wears leather jackets in LA in the middle of the day. Seriously, out of all the other open seats, and teammates he coulda sat next to, he had to sit right next to me, ugh Portman's so annoying. Mr. Tibbles was standing next to what looked like  big box covered with some kind of fabric or tarp.

"Today it's Wheaties boxes" He stated as he uncovered it.

"Hey y'all, that's us" Dwayne pointed out

"Duh, whata ya know" Fulton mocked.

Mr. Tibbles ignored the two  boys and went on with what he was saying.

"Tomorrow it's video games, action figures lunch boxes, the sky's the limit. Now, just to make sure everyone knows who you are. Try on, one of these." he sated taking jerseys out of a smaller box next to him.

He tossed Fulton his jersey as that was the jersey he had pulled out of the box, then tossed Coach his jersey. Then he stated that he wasn't handing them all out, and we all raced excitedly to find our jersey in the box. I was looking through the box for my jersey that hopefully had my lucky number 26. After picking up jerseys number 6 and 16 I was starting to get a tad anxious thinking my number wasn't there, yeah turns out it was just at the bottom of the box. When I pulled my jersey out of the box I sighed happily. Yes! Number 26. After we all had our jerseys, we also got Team USA track suits. We went back to the dorms for a half hour so we could all change into our track suits and do whatever we needed before going to a little class session in a park by a pretty big lake. We were learning about ancient Greece and why the athletes competed, when she asked us why Goldberg without any hesitation stated

           "Falafels"

We all laughed at him and someone said "You wish Goldberg"

Then Ms. Mackay called on Charlie.

          "Pride: he stated confidently

As she was explaining that the athletes from ancient Greece competed in honor of their city-states and wore their home colors proudly, Fulton asked something that made us all laugh. Well except for the idiot leaning on the bench Infront of me, since I was sitting on the table.

          "Did America always dominate?"

We all laughed, but Dean defended him.

          "It was a good question"

I snickered at that statement. Yeah a good question for a 5 year old who knows nothing about history and the fact that America hasn't always been around. Those tow dingus's seriously need a tutor. Portman's grammar stinks worse then a dumpster fire and Fulton is totally oblivious in the subject of history. I'm not saying that I'm perfect nor a genius but come one man, you learn grammar in elementary school, same with history. How are they that bad at school. I don't even pay that much attention in class, and I'm a greaser, yet I still have better grammar then those two. Ms. Mackay went on about how America's still young, and like us being "awkward" at times and still building its own "identity". After the little class in the park, we did some team conditioning. And by conditioning I mean the team roller blading behind Coach Bombay driving some golf cart, while also chanting a cadence:

"I don't know but I been told!" Coach shouted

"I don't know but I been told!" We shouted back

"Team USA's gonna win the gold!"

          "USA's gonna win the gold!"

          "Listen up and listen good!"

          "Listen up and listen good!"

          "We're all headed for Hollywood!"

          "We're all headed for Hollywood!"

          "Sound off!"

         "One, two!"

         "Sound off!"

          "Three, four"

          "Bring 'em on down!"

           "One, two. Three four!"

After conditioning we took a bus back to our hotel where the Ducks were going to be picked up, and we all could rest up and pack anything we took out, for our flight to LA in the morning. Before Connie was picked up, me her and Julie were talking about previous sports we've played. I told them about me playing football in the fall for my high school.. and that I'm really into lifting.
