Two lovers from a distant past,
Their love so strong, it could not last,
A tragic end, a final goodbye,
But their love refused to die.

Centuries have passed, time has flown,
Their souls have wandered, they have grown,
But in this new life, they still know,
The love they shared, from long ago.

Memories of their past life,
Haunt them in the present strife,
Whispers of their love, still they hear,
Longing for the past, forever near.

They search for each other in this new age,
Hoping to continue their love, turn the page,
But fate has other plans, cruel and unkind,
Their love remains a memory, left behind.

So they carry on, in this new world,
Living with the love, that still unfurled,
A love so deep, it cannot be denied,
A love from the past, that still resides.

And in their hearts, they hold the key,
To the love they once shared, so endlessly,
Hoping that one day, fate will be kind,
And they'll be reunited, body and mind.

But until then, they'll carry on,
Living with the love that's never gone,
Longing for the past, forevermore,
Their love a memory, they both adore.
