Chapter Twenty Six:Betrayed Brethren

"What?! Laughing Coffin?! The death guild?! Why are you apart of them?!"I shouted in surprise at her. "Because, there is no way out of SAO besides death.And we're here to do just that."Zana said, smirking."But why?"I asked her, tears glazing my eyes.Zana didn't break her scowl."Because, I have just betrayed you.It's quite simple, I joined your guild just to betray you."Zana explained."Why us?"Liro asked."Because! Because.......because Dina's families company stole everything from me! My house! My family! And even my friends! So I'm using SAO to get my revenge!"Zana screamed, fire burning in her eyes.
"I'll explain."Zana said."Ive got the time since that dragon has 5 HP bars." She sighed.
Flash back:
"We will need your house for the expansion of the property for the resort we're making."A contractor said to me when I opened the door.I was 17 at that time.A honor student who was going to apply for a cheap collage and a commoner who lived in England.My parents declined the offer and the money, saying thatShe was raised in the house when she was a little girl.The contractors left in anger but not defeat. They kept on trying to connivence us to sell it, they even blackmailed us, but to no avail, we wouldn't budge.
Then, one day, the contractors came with torches, burning the house.They thought that my family and I were on a plane to the Americas for a vacation but they were wrong.Te plane was delayed by a day so we were at home at the time.I was in the living room so I managed to escape.But my brother soon going into collage was in the basement practicing his guitar and my parents were in the attic scrape-booking for my brothers open house.His open house never came.That midnight, on my 18th birthday, my brother and parents were killed.
After that day, I swore that I would find out who killed my family and get revenge on them.My friends moved away, because the contractors bought their houses.I didn't have their phone numbers, and they didn't even say goodbye to me.Soon after my friends left me, I found out that the contractors worked for Swi Tech Corp., a corporation in which Mr.Hika owned. A corporation in which Dina's father owned.And I swore I would get revenge on that family.

End Flashback
"Zana! I never meant to-" "Silence! Don't make your situation even more difficult than it is!"Zana interrupted Dina."So, what you are basically saying is that you would betray Dina as everyone else on Silent Shadow just to get your revenge on something Dina and her family had no control of?"Liro questioned.Zana opened her eyes in realization but then it turned itI a scroll towards Liro."Wow, you are pretty smart besides the fact you rent the best in battle."I stated."Yeah, thank for the complement."Liro sweat dropped."Just shut up all of you!!!!"Zana screamed into the air.
"Attack them!!"Zana screamed at the Laughing Coffin members.They all drew their weapons and turned on their skills.Kira, Liro and I all backed up into each others backs."What now?" I asked."Die!! All of you!!!!!"Kira screamed, fire in her eyes."We can't kill them though!"I shouted."We can't stop her."Liro said.I only gripped my sword tighter in anger."Why has it come to this?"I asked myself.Kira lunged and impaled one of the men, slicing through him multiple times with alarming speed, leaving him unable to fight back or block.He turned to me in horror as he fell backwards, his fearful eyes peering into mine as he exploded into white and blue pixels.
Kira was panting hard."No."I whispered as Kira sliced through another man who managed to block. "No."I stated again, a little louder.He exploded into pixels too."Stop it Kira!!!"I shouted at her.She wasn't stopping.She was kill as if her life was on the line.But no one was even remotely close to scratching her. I started crying hard while crouching down an covering my ears with my hands, my sword still in my right hand. My shaking pupils stared wide eyed at the dirt ground, unable to hear nor see the death and screams of the dying men.
'How can Kira do this? Why is she doing this? For what purpose?' I asked myself, tears still spilling from my eyes. She is my closest fiend yet I've never seen her like this.An image of the past flashed through my mind.The old Kira was always smiling, always trying I cheer me up, no matter how much pain he was in herself, she always smiled for me.

Liro's POV
The screams.They echoed in my mind.I haven't known Kira for long but I know for sure this isn't her."I am betraying you all!"Zana shouted, lunging at Kira.Kira sliced through another man, turning around to look at Zana.Her eyes were hallow, no kindness, no joy, no happiness showed in Kira's eyes.Only loneliness, hatred, and lust showed in them.Lust for blood, death, and distraction."You have betrayed us, your brethren.Now, you must die."Kira said with a hallow voice, her eyes still my showing any emotion as Zana lunged at her, sword ready.
