Chapter 23

Y/n's pov;
Walking down the streets to head to the direction of the boat, I grabbed the walkie-talkie from my waistband, and pushed on the button on the side. "Aria, B/n, Kenshirou, Samon, Hajime, Kiji are one of you guys there? Its Y/n." I release the button and waited for a response.

A beep came through. "Y/n, it's Kenshirou, is everything okay?".

I push the button on the side and said. "I need to head back to Nanba. I found a newborn baby, probably a week old." I release the button.

A beep came through. "Really a newborn?!" Samon asked.

I push on the button again, and said. "Yes, really, the baby is small and thin, so I need Doctor Okina to look at her." I release the button on the side.

A beep came through. "I'll let the captain and Okina know, you're coming back. We'll stay out here and continue looking until curfew." Hajime said.

I push on the button on the side. "Thank you," I release the button and put the walkie-talkie clip on the waistband of my pants. I look down at the baby sleeping in my arm. "Please don't cry until we get to the boat." I mumbled. I looked back up and walked faster.

~Back at the boat~

"Took your ass long enough!" The captain shouted, while I'm walking on board.

"I got here as fast as I could, it's not like I have the van or anything." I said.

"Well I have to drop you off at Nanba then come back here to wait for the others." He said.

"Sorry for your extra work load." I said.

The captain walks over to me. "So that's the baby, you're taking back to Nanba.".

"Yeah," I said.

He stops in front of me and looks at her. "She's a small thing, ain't she?".

"She is, she's thin too. She needs to see Okina." I said.

"Let's get going then." He said, before walking away from me.

"Right," I mumbled. I felt the baby move in my arm and started getting fussy. I look down at her and it looks like she's about to cry. I grabbed her tiny hand that's balled up into a tiny fist. "Your okay," She stops being fussy, as her tiny hand opens and gripped onto my thumb. Her eyes opened and her eye color was a dark brown. "Hey, sweet girl, you finally opened your eyes.. You're going to have amazing older brothers, and a crazy aunt and uncle.. You know I finally decided what to name you, your name will be Raya Luna L/n. Welcome to the family." She yawns and fell back to sleep while holding onto my thumb. I could feel the sun hitting on me. "I better get her out of the sun." I walk over to a place on the boat that has shade and waited patiently to get to Nanba.

~At Nanba~

"Y/n, it's okay to get off now!" The captain said.

"Okay," I said. I walk off the boat and onto the docks of Nanba. I look down at Raya to make sure, she's okay and she's still asleep. "Let's get you to the doctor." I say, walking in the direction of Otogi's office.

~Okina's office~

Once I opened the door to Otogi's office, Lb/n1 and Lb/n2 were playing connect four on the bed while Navarin was doing Nadeshiko's hair. Doctor Okina and his wife Kazari was getting stuff ready, which I assume is for Raya. I walk into the room and everyone looks at me.
