The Black Cottage

Sirius was overjoyed to see Monty and Mia. He invited them inside only to find all the members present there in a defensive position. Only Alisa was standing there, wearing a smile on her face. He knew it would happen. She had met the older Potters a couple of times and to say she liked them would be underestimated. She simply adored them. And so, just like Sirius, she too flung herself into their arms while the Potter couple laughed whole-heartedly.

"It's good to see you too, Lis," Monty said, patting her head in a fatherly way.

She grinned like a small girl who got her favorite candy, "Yes, and I have made the treacle tart as I promised."

Now that got Sirius's attention, who was busy explaining the Cullens about Monty and Mia. "What do you mean as promised? Did you already know they are going to come?"

"Well, yes, Black, I have my sources and due to them I knew they were going to visit us soon," she replied, smiling cutely at him, not wanting him to get annoyed over it. "Now will you do the honors or shall I?" she continued, gesturing between the Potters and Cullens. "Oh yes, sorry about that. Let me introduce you guys to each other. Monty and Mia, meet Cullen, Carlisle, and Esme, the parents, and Edward, Elise, Rosalie, Emmett, and Jasper, the children. Now Cullens, meet Lord and Lady Potter, Fleamont and Euphemia, Harry's grandparents." Alisa hit her forehead in an annoyed manner at the way he introduced everyone while others laughed.

"It's nice meeting with you, Lord and Lady Potter," Carlisle greeted both the Potters with a warm smile. "Same here, Carlisle. Please call us Monty and Mia. We are family after all."

That made every Cullen smile warmly. They have been each other's family for decades and never thought any human would call them their family knowing their reality, knowing that they are predators. But here in front of them are the most respected lord and lady of the wizarding world, who are calling them family without a moment of hesitation.

"Now, Sirius Black, I want to see my grandbaby this instance, or you will see my wrath," Mia said to Sirius, showing her eyes to him like he is a child who has stolen candy from his mother's hidden stash. Sirius smiled nervously at her and pointed toward the cute bundle of joy in Alice's hands. All this while, Harry was looking at the newcomers curiously.

They say children feel safe when in proximity to parents' magic. Harry always felt safe when he was with James, Lily, or Sirius, two being his parents and one being his godfather. Now, he can feel the same safety and joy from the newcomers, so that's why he was just looking at them in curiosity, waiting for his godfather to notice him, looking absolutely adorable.

"First, come inside and let us all sit."

Sirius made Monty and Mia sit on the couch and he sat down near Mia's legs, taking baby Harry from Alice, who took her earlier seat like others. "Here, your grandchild!" Sirius gave Harry to Mia, earning a swat on his head from Monty for his cheeky smile. Mia carefully took Harry in her arms and hugged him, giving kisses all over his face, earning giggles from him.

Sirius asked Kreacher to bring beverages for Monty and Mia and just sat there, looking proud of himself. Monty, who was busy playing with Harry, saw the look and said, "The best thing James has done in these last few months is to make you Harry's godfather. We have many things to talk about, many things to discuss, but I am really proud of you, my boy."

This only widened the smile on Sirius's face.
